It's up there. I can't think of too many other DMB songs where everyone goes at it so hard at once. Throw in PNP and it is one of my favorite tunes.

Re: Rapunzel jam

probably the best jam in studio. i haven't seen it live yet but from the tapes i've heard, it doesn't match up. the best jam live for me would be, at least amongst the horns, spoon.

Wow. You guys put a lot of stock into studio recordings.
I'll take a live version pretty much ANYTIME over the studio version...
Also, I'm sorry but Butch > Tim on this particular song...

Here's a great Example...

Listen to that version as many times as you've listened to the studio version and I believe you'll enjoy it more than the studio version.

Re: Rapunzel jam

My first thought was that this thread referred to the Rapunzel jam from 1996 or whatever year that was.

However, it's not my favorite jam.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The last 1:31 of Rapunzel on BTCS is my absolute favorite piece of DMB music.

No way. Studio version is fucking perfect. The whistles in the back, the piano, the production. It's so perfect. DMB studio is so good, particularly BTCS.

It's not my favorite, but it is good, especially live.

My favorite might be JTR, Bartender, or the middle of LIOG.

Rapunzel itself is top 5 for me as a song. The jam puts it in a whole another category (along with Crush, The Stone, Typical)
