I've never been there... whats the venue like? I've heard small and smoky, but just curious. Yah we'll be getting there for the whole thing, I couldn't figure out who was opening.

Me too. I was disappointed to click in here and find out it was a band. I thought maybe the story of the pilots who forgot to land their plan had been usurped by an even better story.

Re: Blind Pilot

This thread would have been way better if it were actually about a blind pilot.

Re: Blind Pilot

I've seen them twice this year... they're great! I like them better with the additional members, I think the harmonies sound better with a female voice

If you want to hear a live performance, check out their SXSW show on NPR's Live Concerts From All Songs Considered podcast:

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...ryId=101419055

(If you're not subscribed to this podcast yet, you're missing out!)

Edit:

Oviedo and 3 Rounds and a Sound are my faves

Re: Blind Pilot

Just saw them Wednesday night... thought they really did good. I was wondering if it would be pretty low key like the CD, but they really try and step it up on stage. Really liked the new stuff they had. In a small venue it's worth going to see these guys. Pretty short set, but to be expected with only one released CD.
