how much for front rows

How much do DMB tickets in the front few rows cost at a venue like spac, alpine, or charlottesville through online ticketing

How much at other smaller venues?

Is there another way to get them?

Re: how much for front rows

The prices don't necessarily change by row, it's just a matter of limited availability and timing. VIP boxes can cost around $5,000 on the low end for a show.

Re: how much for front rows

I'm asking what people have paid or what they've heard has been paid. I'm considering buying a few shows in the front couple rows next year instead of going to 10+.

Re: how much for front rows

honestly ticket brokers are prolly the easiest way to get in the front few rows (as much as I hate to say it). Each venue varies depending on availability. I've seen anywhere from $600-2000 a ticket

Well, front row at the Greek in Berkeley was $69.50 + 10 hours in line.

Re: how much for front rows

Back in 07 when they played in Vegas I remember seeing front row seats going for close to 10K. Being a Warehouse member I'm hoping to avoid prices like that.

Re: how much for front rows

i've searched the stubhub tickets the week of a show and have seen the prices for front row... i've had friends (who are willing to shell out that cash) pick up rows 1-3 on ebay... you're looking at anywhere from $300-$2000 depending on how far out from the concert date you look, exactly what row and seat, what show you're looking at... i'd estimate front row center at Alpine 3 months before the show would go for around $500 a seat, maybe.

exactly! that's how much front row SHOULD cost... it's reserved seating just like row 30 or whatever.. everything over face should go to some good cause or charity.

Ahh, the Greek shows in Berkeley. You could spend the same thing and wind up 6th row or so coming in one hour before the show. I just had to show my "green pass".

This. Most shows I pay anywhere between $35-$75. I just sneak up. The closest I've ever gotten was 4 rows back... talk about a bargain. The people didn't care because I was alone... for a little while at least. Usually people (from my experience) are extremely friendly the closer you get. They're also usually somewhat drunk; unless they're one of those people like myself who's extremely into the show.

Re: how much for front rows

you can do GA and get front row for 75$ or so...
if you search hard enough, you can find tickets in the front few rows for face value+fees for most shows
the WH also goes through the the lawn/parking lot and upgrades tickets...going to the box office beforehand or checking TM&LN for ticket drops is also a way to get great seats

I spent $500 per ticket at SPAC 5 years ago(front row pit), and then $600 per ticket the following year. This year they were quite a bit more. I have used Ebay and StubHub. It was worth it to me, so I did it. Some people go to Disney World, me I go see DMB up close.

I'm shocked to see the high prices. I paid $165 for front row at Busch Stadium in 2008... price included free food and beer in a VIP section before the show

It was '03. I hope they still give up-grades. It was sweet I walked into the arena in Portland and a dude asked if I was a Warehouse member and he handed me 2 front row tickets.

Re: how much for front rows

I just hope I can stumble upon a ticket in the first 10 rows for a show. I am not interested in shelling out a bunch of money to some one just because they sit there and buy tickets to resale.

I would love that! Wish that you guys could come to Syracuse, or somewhere in Northern NY, if you do, you need to keep me posted! TR3 is going to be in the 'Cuse in December, I think I will try and go to that!

Yeah, I know it's crazy to spend that much on tix, but like I said, I would rather spend it on good DMB seats...some people are really lucky and get up front for cheap *cough Kayla cough*, I just haven't had that kind of luck, unless I am with Kayla

I like this story. I mean you are four drunk girls. Somehow someone knew that. But, for this to happen is the serious dopeness. And I am glad it happened to a cool chick.

didn't happen to me
unfortunately, it was four drunk girls who were at their first show and were paying more attention to the guys behind them/screaming F me Dave...among other things--&then yelling at Carter at the end "LEEEE-ROI! LEEE-ROI, I WANT A DRUMSTICK"
