Why the 2004 & 2006 songs may never return
This is an interview with Dave right before the two Pittsburgh shows this year. It covers some of the reasons why songs stick with the band and others don't. A few fan favorites from 2004 and 2006 are mentioned specifically. |

Good interview. Man, there's all sorts of questions that come to my mind after this interview. Crazy Easy was written for an album that never came out? I didn't know the band got that far with Batson on a second album...hmmm. We need a "Lost Dogs" type of release from dmb soon. Now that's something I would invest in rather than rehashed live releases from now until eternity.

Lol the compilation of clips at the very beginning is so choppy. My favorite part is where you just hear "Crash" and then it goes right on. Lolz

Awesome find. makes me proud to be from Pittsburgh after hearing Dave talk about the city so fondly. Kinda sucks though. makes it seem like these songs may never come back. But I would LOVE to hear everything they recorded for this unfinished album

Those songs are gems. I definitly agree on the "lost dogs" idea. Id much rather pay for that then listening to machead a few times.

I've heard this interview before, but we get so many different opinions from so many different interviews, I don't think anybody can say with any certainty weather or not the guys'll feel like breaking some old gems out if they get struck with the mood.

considering Sugar Will, Joyride, Shotgun, and Idea of You have all been played after the year they debuted, i really don't think you can say they might never return. they already have, and recently too. there's a better chance of hearing those songs than half of whats on Busted Stuff on any given night.
