How much sleep do you get per night?

On an average weeknight (work night or school night), how much sleep do you get?

I was usually good for 8 hours a night or more when I was getting up at 7:30, I'm lucky if I get 7 having to get up at 5:30 now that I work in Minneapolis.

Edit: When the gf stays over I end up getting around 7, when she doesn't I stay up later and usually run myself down to 6 hours.

between 5.5-6...im student teaching right now so im up late grading papers and writing lessons and I have to wake up at 515 every morning. i love not getting paid for 50 hrs a week of work ughh

on weekdays it's six hours tops. I live in an 8 person apartment here on campus with my crazy friends, so we usually don't hit the sack till 3 or 4 am nightly. 2 if we are lucky. doesnt help that I have 8 o clocks monday and tuesday and 10's on wednesday. weekends i get a shit ton more, but the weekdays kill me

8 hours or more usually - 4-5 hours on Monday nights, because Tuesday is the only morning class I have, and having to go to bed way earlier completely throws off the internal clock.

surprisingly I survive better on weekdays.

Yeah, I'm really dreading doing my student teaching. Not only don't you get paid for working your ass off, but you also have to pay to take the graduate classes that are required for student teaching. Nice little scam they have going.

7-10 hours. Academic job gives schedule flexibility--so I tend to go to bed anywhere between 12-2 and get up anywhere between 8-11. Work a ton of hours, but try not to sacrifice sleep as I just feel like crap if I don't get at least 7-8 hours a night. I'd rather get the sleep and give up some free time.

I average 7 hours. I have 8am classes during the week so I get up at 6:30.

I need a good sleep then coffee to be normal throughout the day

on the average night i go to bed around 2 and have to get up at 5:30 for work, so i guess i only get around 3 1/2. it sucks, but i don't sleep well anyways

7 1/2 to 8, closer to 8. No questions asked. I go to sleep between 10:30 and 11 every night, and wake up at 6:45 or 7:00, depending on whether I'm biking to work or driving. I'm pretty nazi about my sleeping. If I get less than 6 hours of sleep at this point in my life, I just become a different zombie-like version of myself.

When I wake up on the weekends, it's either earlier or at the same time as I wake up during the week. I tend to get some of my best work done early in the morning. Something about not actually having to get up makes me want to get up and be productive.

For me there's nothing better than waking up butt-early on the weekend and enjoying a fresh cup of coffee in utter silence.
