Interesting cover idea

With A Little Help From My Friends

Not the Beatles version but Joe Cocker's. I think Dave would really nail the scream.

Re: Interesting cover idea

Interesting thought. I like it when people suggest outside-the-box cover ideas based on how the band would best adapt to them. Otherwise, anyone can just suggest the band play a song the individual thinks is cool.

Re: Interesting cover idea

How about Pink Floyd - Us & Them.

I was listening to this song the other day and I was thinking to myself "Boyd and Jeff could tear this song up!"

I just think it could be a great jam for them.

Re: Interesting cover idea

Bring back Butch and keep Tim. Then play Steely Dan's Aja. They would rip that song to pieces.

Saw 'em do that at Bethel. That's where I got my inspiration to start this thread. I was listening to that version earlier today. They did it with Matt Nathanson and he did the scream. It was amazing!

Great idea! I'm a big Floyd fan and I loved when Dave did Money. I wish they would keep playin it.

That's funny... I just listened to that today and thought the same thing. Great song... Too bad they're a 2 hit wonder.
