ok so i was just thinking about all the little things in life that can just make one's day better or just little idiosyncrasies that we individually do. like i will purposely go out of my way to crunch a leaf or how you replace the roll of toilet paper.

what are some of your little nuances or idiosyncrasies?

I will try to step over the cracks in between slabs of cement on the sidewalk with my left foot first.
I go so far as too even stutter step just so my right foot will land before the crack.
Waste of time now that I think of it...

you're missing out man. Its not that you don't wipe, its that your asshole is just as clean as it was before you shat, therefore having a clean wad of paper after you wipe.

I love turning the hot and cold knobs on for a shower, getting in after a minute and having it be the perfect temperature. (This is easier to do when you just have ONE knob and there are some sort of markings on the wall.)

Having exact change for something you purchase.

Being the first amongst your friends to notice that it's starting to rain.

Taking that loud annoying Napoleon-complexed little dog and punting it so that it lands directly in front of an oncoming truck.

A perfect dive into the pool.

Skiing on a somewhat wooded back-country trail and going over someone else's tracks all the way down.

what is even better is when you wake up an hour before your alarm, thinking it is almost time to get up and feel like a king, getting a whole nother hour of sleep

When at the exact moment that I'm feeling down, a friend texts/calls me with something completely hysterical and changes my whole mood.
Finding money in pockets when doing laundry.
Thinking it's Thursday when it's really Friday.

I used to live in an apartment complex that had a soda machine that was all F'ed up. We figured out that if you push certain selections super fast, you'd get up to 3 cans of soda.
