We'll do an Ants road trip. We'll squeeze, I don't know..... 40 people in my friend's mini-van. You gotta chip in for gas if you want in though.

Look it up on the venue's site. So you're going to want to count in...

Camping expenses
Food
Water
Tickets
Beer
Gas
Extra money to buy random shit

Yeah.

Re: Alpine Help :)

Camping is only $10 a person/night at private campgrounds. Unfortunately there aren't reservations for those places, just first come. Otherwise Milwaukee is only 45 minutes away and there is plenty of lodging there, but be sure to book a room right after they announce the dates. And parking is free at Alpine. And bring lots of beer!

I have gone the day of the show and got lucky because someone got kicked out of a site. Ive also reserved a site on reserveamerica.com. Ive stayed at bong state park and Kettle Moraine. Kettle is the one i booked in advance. Lake Geneva is also a great place to stay in a hotel. I stayed at the Best Western Habour Shores for about 250 a night, but book early. Id say its about 20 min from the venue.

As for as what to bring, just bring alot of beer. Maybe a bags set, a grill some good burgers and all the tailgate stuff. Get there a few hours early cause the tailgating is like no other.

Have fun its worth the trip!

Re: Alpine Help :)

Bong was good but I was under 21 and you gotta be really careful cause the have state cops roaming around. Kettle Moraine was really good a little hard to find but good. All the campgrounds are about the same and the good thing about them is they are all full of dmb concert goers. Just hope you dont get stuck in a site next to a family with kids trying to sleep. haha

No there isn't. Check out the first post in the 2009 Alpine Thread (http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/sh...d.php?t=240013), it has a lot of good information on that one post. I've been three times and have hoteled it all three times, but feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Also feel free to hop in that thread and ask some questions. Some of the regulars still check in from time to time and if you post in there someone will answer your question.

How much do you think? I'd go with maybe a pound. We'll slim it down to 16 Ants (plus we'll have more room in the van). Each person gets an ounce. Yes; we'll smoke that much so add another 200 dollars to that (each person).

Edit: 250 - 300 for pretty good shit actually. You wanna bring extra just incase
