Strategy for writing a 10 page paper...

Okay, I have a ten page paper due tomorrow morning at 9am. I have about 1/3 of the paper written, and the sources I will be using chosen. It is really a matter of just writing it. However, I want to work as little as possible tonight, (already decided on an all nighter) so I want to know what strategies you guys recommend.

I could do:

-Write a page an hour, use final hours to revise.
-Write two pages for each of the next two hours, then work easier.
-Go all out right now, take a break, then resume around 4
-etc etc

What strategy would result in me having a finished paper by 9, without a rush at the end, and require not much WPM (work per minute)

write write write for as long as you can to just get as much on paper as possible, whether its good or bad. then slow down to finish up and revise. go hard while you have the energy to do it. you dont want to end up pushing yourself at 3am because its not going to happen.

I'm currently writing a 5 page paper. My strategy is make an extensive outline while simultaneously wasting lots of time on ants and playing the CP Concert DVD in the background. Then just turn the outline into the paper by adding connecting words/phrases and punctuation. Never fails.

Id say brew some coffee and work at a steady pace. DO NOT work on a computer with internet, for you will only be distracted. Hopefully, you will not get this message and are already working.

First, grab a glass of wine... it'll relax you a bit. I always used to light a couple candles too, but that's just me.

Second, sign off of ants all together... for the rest of the night.

Third, write as much as you can now. Take a little break away from the computer and then have another go at it.

You definitely should try and get a little sleep at some point, so I'd recommend getting up by 7am so that you can go over it again.

that is basically what I am doing. I have an extensive outline already, and I am just mindlessly connecting the dots with a couple sentences each.

I will do a 1.5-2 hour writing rush before midnight and then ill take a mini break and re-analyze the situation.

And sorry guys, Ill be on ants probably all night, and ill be up all night.

There is no possible way you can come to that conclusion. In fact you have most likely never read one of my papers, thus not knowing whether or not you are going to have superior writing abilities. Secondly, I have never taken a month to write a paper. Even ones longer than 10 pages. This proves that your "funny part" is flawed in two cases. Also, the fact that you use flawed information suggest that your details are poorly researched and thus your conclusions are misleading at best, and wrong most likely. This of course means that i am a better writer than you, mainly because when i do write i don't post on ants looking for advice on how to write, I don't need it.
