Live Trax 'Big 3' help

Sorry if this has been done before, but I'm trying to really turn a good friend of mine on to dmb. I wanna give him three Live Trax to show him what they're all about. Which ones do you recommend as the best for a new fan?

Re: Live Trax 'Big 3' help

I'd go with LT8, LT3, and LT10, although a good argument could be made to throw in the Listener Supported DVD for good measure. :-)

Re: Live Trax 'Big 3' help

LT 7 is often up there as one of the best. I support LT 3 too.

LT 5 and 12 for some amazing old school DMB
LT 7 and 3 are considered the top two of the series, but any of those four you can't go wrong

I'm in the middle of a thread series called the Official King of Live Trax (it's on the first page of threads), and after ranking all the LT's by thousands of votes, upon hundreds of Ants, you will find that 1, 3, and 7 are easily the 3 best.

So 1, 3, and 7. Easily. LT 1 was actually the first LT I ever got. It was one of the Live releases that really drew me into the band. LT 3 is almost perfection in terms of mix and certain versions of songs, and LT 7 is one of the best shows they've ever played. Go with these 3.

Re: Live Trax 'Big 3' help

The best LT and the ones you should give to someone just getting into the band are different things. I'd go with really old school (LT12), really new (LT13), and the best show (LT7). LT 12 can be substituted for LT1 or LT3 though, since they're that good.
