So ok, I've been wondering this for a while. I tried to do a search but didn't find anything. It could also be that I didn't know what search words I should use.
After watching the SNL performance, I'm wondering why Boyd and Tim are in different positions on stage vs. the tour. If I recall, on the Jimmy Fallon Show, Today Show, David Letterman and Ellen (yes, Ellen- I watched it) that Tim is far stage right. But on tour, Boyd is far stage right. Is there a reason for Boyd standing in a different spot during a TV performance? It is to have the original group together and the "others" on the outside?
And of course I'm not referencing the Beacon since that was part of the summer tour. Also, I could be wrong, but in one of the above mentioned shows, I think Boyd was far stage right.
