Crush: Best Live Song?

Anyone else think that Crush is the best sounding song live? Dave can usually do the vocals fairly well, while this is one song that Tim fits fuckin perfectly on. And the jam just keeps getting better and better too. It's gotta be between Crush and Two Step for the best live song they have right now, says I.

Crush was so damn good this year the two times I saw it. I was absolutely blown away.

But two Step is simply the best song they are playing live right now. When fans can legitimately come back from a show and say "Best Two Step" ever almost any night of a tour it is hard to vote for another song in this category.

it's one of the songs I could hear at every show I go to. So while theres some other songs i think may be better, it's hard to disagree with OP.

Crush from Dallas this year was AWESOME. The Tim and Jeff dueling jam at the end was insane. I didn't know a sax could sound like that.

Heard this song each of the last 3 years. It keeps getting better. I wish Fonzi would get a little more time for the Intro. You can tell he just wants to blow it up instead of playing a couple of bars

No, but it is probably the best studio track, in terms of production.

And I personally don't like Two Step so much this year. I don't really think it's been that great since like '98 :-/
A lot of times the jam is just 5 minutes of nothing happening. Give me a Two Step like Red Rocks 95.

I voted Nay. Right now, it will have to be Two Step. But, I think spanning their career, it would have to be Ants Marching. It's just one of those songs that no matter how bad of a mood you're in, the outro cheers you up everytime. Yeah, it hasn't changed much over the years, but that shows how great it is. Seeing that and hearing that in person, oh, so nice.

Two Step is very dynamic and fluid, while Ants is crystaline.

i dont have a favorite dave song, but Two step is an amazing song live. red rocks 95 and 10.2.07 are the best two step's l've heard. another song that does not get too much recognition live is American Baby Intro. it is arguable the most changed from album to live performance. Again, I will reference the 10.2.07 show for this song. Boyd tears it up, and dave can scream like no other in that song. I want to see American Baby Intro in 2010!!!!
