new reports are leading to he accidentally overdosed because the pills he took weren't what he thought they were.

not said in the article, but since he didn't have any prescriptions for the previous 12 months, conjecture would be he was buying pills online. apparently he got some bunk stuff (fentanyl) that was way stronger than the hydrocodone he thought he was taking.

The following is previously unseen rehearsal footage of Prince & The Revolution from the summer of 1984.

It was in this very room at Flying Cloud Drive Warehouse in Eden Prairie, Minnesota that Prince created and committed to tape one of his most beloved and iconic compositions, which six years later would become a worldwide hit for Sinead O’Connor.

Prince’s original studio version of ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ is presented here for the first time.

Video directed by Andrea Gelardin and Ruth Hogben.

Pretty stoked to see Prince's 1987 Sign O' The Times concert is getting remastered for Blu-ray in 1080p24 16:9 (means it was likely shot on film) with a new Dolby Atmos (7.2.4) and Auro3D (11.1) mix. No North American listing yet, but no doubt it's coming if they put the time in for such an extensive restoration. The existing information for the EU release is a four disc set which contains 2 Blu-rays and 2 DVDs.
