damn the Spiderman reboot is really shaping up. we've already got we know that Tony Stark will have a decent sized supporting role, and that Michael Keaton is back on as the villain (likely the Vulture). But now just in the last few days they've also added Donald Glover, Martin Starr and Logan Marshall Green.

although from what I've heard from the more hardcore comics geeks, I guess though he's been a wishlist pick for a long time, Glover will very likely not be Miles Morales. cause I've been told that Morales is supposed to be at least a couple years younger than Peter Parker, and obviously they're already going with the youngest ever on screen Peter, so MM would have to be like barely a teenager in this.

Now that they have the Spider-man franchise, I hope they start working a few more Easter eggs in place to coalesce the universe - - Like a mention that to Karen Page that Ben Ulrich refused to work for that idiot at the Bugle and neither should she, or a fleeting shot of a symbiote somewhere in Guardians 2.

well I just got reminded of something kinda interesting. Seeing those set pics of Thor and Loki back together on the "streets of NY" (there are theories this is for a Dr Strange post-credits scene), I watched Thor: The Dark World again. I'd forgotten who'd written it. But so for so much credit and praise that Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely have gotten now for writing all of the Captain America movies (& some of the Agent Carter TV series) and are writing both Infinity Wars, they were also involved in this. true, 2 totally different writers have "story by" credits on Thor 2, but Markus & McFeely make up two-thirds of the "written by" on it.

I just think it's kind of funny given how it seems like so many fans rank Thor 2 among like the worst, bottom three or so of all Marvel movies.

and from what I've heard, this Darryl character has actually wound up even being in Thor: Ragnarok. almost certainly something along the lines of (& max screen time equivalent to) Darcy from 1 and 2, just basically replacing her as a comic relief element.

I think in the comics they are super-powered people who are descendants of ancient humans that were experimented on by an alien race. What it felt like on Agents of Shield was just a way for Marvel to tell X-Men type stories without the X-Men, since they don't have the rights to them. I would expect an Inhumans show to feel very much the same as that.

well I guess Marvel TV was indeed onto something when they first decided the order in which the Netflix universe side of things came out. Because Daredevil, which still seems to have overall gotten the best acclaim was first (granted he was also the most already well known of the 4 characters to the general public, albeit from a shit feature film), and now Iron Fist last, it easily seems to be getting the worst reviews of any of this grouping.

a bummer, though I don't necessarily feel completely surprised. It's definitely been the one I've had the least amount of anticipation for.
