Yep, same thing I did. I was racking up episodes and eventually was like, do I really want to watch this?

damn. I gave up after S2, but last summer I was laid up after surgery, ran out of good TV, and gave S3 a shot and it was solid. S4E1 was perhaps the best episode of either show. Right now, FTWD is miles better

He asked to be off of the show a while back and this was the writers granting that wish.

They tied the movies, the original Walking Dead and Fear all together last night when Althea encountered a walker with the same symbol that was on the helicopter that took Rick away. It is three rings, not two but it looks a little like the Coffee rings. Comic book readers will likely know that is probably the symbol for the "Commonwealth". It is cool how they are bringing this all together.
