Halloween Ends

I just watched this and loved it very much. I won't spoil anything as this is a very unique chapter in the series.

They need to tackle Jason now. I loved that remake.

I have a feeling this isn't the last in the franchise, despite the title.

It's probably the last one of this series though.

They'll reboot it later on most likely. And while I'll probably watch those, I can stop collecting at any time I like.

I was an 80s kid, but I feel like I'm growing up with the current teen generations horror film takes.

Like IT, and Friday the 13th.

Even the new Child's Play was awesome!

This was probably on par with season of the witch as the worst Halloween movie. There are a couple of decent scenes but the plot is asinine. It's basically a lifetime movie about a strong elderly woman and her dumber than dirt granddaughter.
The first rob zombie reboot is still the best Halloween, the second just goes off the rails towards the end.

What I don't get is how they had all this time to do something right, like they did with the '18 movie, and yet... this.

Anyway, I hear many conflicting views on what the best, and worst movies are. Some folks say Resurrection is the worst. Some say the first Zombie movie is the worst.

You like this one the best. Subjectivity is fascinating.

Yeah because it shows the origin as a kid and has a darker vibe. None of the Halloween are great movies but if I had to pick one that's my choice. The latest reboots have some good scenes, in the first two, but I have no interest in seeing an eighty year old woman fight Michael Myers or listening to her self help nonsense.
I really wish zombie would remake children of the corn.

The problem with his movies is once he starts going off the rails, they get ridiculous. I think it happens in the devils rejects or the other one in that series.

Aren't there 3? Three From Hell is a name I remember hearing from Zombie.

There could be. I know there was at least two, but I don't remember the names. If I remember the one with Dwight from the office is the one that just gets bizarre. I think that's the rejects but not sure.

This movie came off more about a nerd boy psycho, just a dummy of a girl and a few mins of Michael

Not what I wanted for the end

    Ah well.

The girl's story line is remarkable. She must be the stupidest character in any horror movie.

Myself as well. Just not what I expected while watching a "horror" movie, if that's what you can even call this.

I think Halloween 18 and Halloween kills worked as big blockbuster films, with a more aggressive Michael.

This was a complete letdown. Big swing and miss with this kid losing his mind and then befriending or embodying Michael Myers.
Why was Mike Myers responsive to this kid?
On top of everything, it wasn't the least bit scary. I thought the last one sucked, this one was worse.
    Sad

Halloween is one of the worst horror franchises. It doesn't have the depravity of Friday the 13th, and it's zero fun unlike Nightmare on Elm Street.

I like the original and Zombie's first one. The rest can piss up a rope.

It’s probably the best single movie. Franchise? No way. All the sequels are trash.

Friday has a couple good sequels. Part II for sure.

Texas Chainsaw II is really wild.

Nightmare on Elm Street has the most sequels I like.

The new one is easily the worst Halloween of them all.

It gets extra credit because it was made after some of those really bad ones ie Halloween 6 and still made the choices it made

The Child’s Play remake wasn’t terrible. But the regular series is still going and is still good, for the most part.
