Joe Buck and Tim McCarver are horrible....Captain Obvious 1 & 2....and there's no St. Louis bias at all

Yea I don't know how someone who says they are a genuine baseball fan can actually hate Derek Jeter. Did you hate Lassie, too?

and I swear to god, if there was one word I could have removed entirely from the English language for the rest of eternity, it would be "overrated"

I respect the hell out of him as a player, he's one of the greats. Doesn't mean I gotta like him.

For me, its Yankees fans fault. When ARod first came over and it was crystal clear that he was more valuable in every facet of the game, and NYY fans wouldn't concede that ARod was the better player. It caused me to irrationally hate Jeter.

Is there anywhere that Outside the Lines can be watched after it has aired? Today's show was dedicated to discussing instant replay in baseball and I didn't catch it until after it was more than halfway through.

Lot of Cardinal hate...ha. Oh well, I guess we are becoming the Yanks of the NL. Obviously, I'm biased, but it's a bunch of good guys on the team, guys who don't quit. No egomaniacs, unlike some of the guys on the Nationals.( Cardinals players were getting texts from players across the league thanking them for knocking out the Nationals according to a respected Stl sports writer.)

I guess people hate sub-90-win teams winning the World Series. Oh well. I'll take a sub-90-win team that wins a ring every year over 102 wins and an NLDS exit.

My only beef with the Cardinals is they won it last year. I'd rather see someone new win it.

Cardinals: Won it last year.
Giants: Won it the year before.
Yankees: Won it the year before that.
Tigers: Big central division rival to my Twins.

All 4 teams I was rooting for as part of the playoffs lost this year, so now I'm stuck rooting for the least annoying team left.

Joe buck is by far the best national announcer in baseball. By FAR. And he is extremely objective. McCarver maybe not so objective.

Dirty play befitting of a classless organization. Reminds me of Kimo Von Oelhoffen's hit on Carson Palmer in the 2006 playoffs. Legal within the rules of the game? Sure. But also unnecessarily (intentionally?) dangerous.

I've seen about 10 different replays of the Holliday slide and I really don't get why people are so up in arms. That play happens at least once every few days during the regular season and no one complains. I've seen fielders get taken out much harder than Scutaro did.

The Giants must be the whiniest organization in baseball. They cried like babies about Posey, and now they're bitching and moaning again. Shut up and play.

Ha. Maybe I spoke too early last night. People complain about that all the time, but in between our years of 04-05 when we won 205 games, we didn't win the world series....so whatever.

Buck is good at what he does, but he's incredibly bias. i can't listen to him call sox games
