Chicago 4th weekend
I've been to my fair number of shows. I purposefully took a job in Cville so I could see DMB in their hometown. There needs to be a serious debate about how Chicago, since it is replacing Alpine this year, will effect the rest of the year. I have pit night one and seats night two and I have to say Dave's 'shockers' were but common occurrences as non shockers in years past. We're all disappointed in shake me as a closer even if it is in some obscure reference to LeRoi from his studio intro for it. True fans are feeling shorted across the nation and I'm sorry to say this but Dave is using his studio style acoustic intro set to justify his lack of creativity in setlist electric version. Look at the caravan sets compared to these and you will see an obsurd reflection. Dave and Tim did an hour roughly every afternoon only to perform such amazing hits like kill the king and an amazing blackjack in the night. I feel shorted and so should you true fans. How about a solo BOWA for starters as an opener like back in the day? As a true fan I'm going into my two days in Chicago expecting mediocrity which I've never expected to say. Let's hope he gets our disappointment and turns it around just like the end of sweet.
