Ski Haus was a great success last year, plan to try the same this year. Never made it to arctic liquors but we have a car this year so it's easier.

I'll do my best on denver. We may grocery shop in Denver in which case we'd be closer to noon.

Does crooked stave have to go stuff?

I am sure that they will have something for carryout at CS when you are there. John can correct me but I assume their standard lineup stuff is generally available. and they might have some surprises there as well.

Ben to answer the Twitter question they only have a couple "standard" beers: Vieille, Surette, and St. Bretta. Vieille is my favorite saison so I'd recommend that, Surette is very good, the St Brettas are seasonal and are hit or miss IMO.

They'll have some variety of seasonal beers and variants as well as a ton of their beers they distribute through CS Artisan Distribution.

    Yeeeeeouch!

I feel like the last thing I'd want to do after getting the snippage done is drink beer... for 1, I'd probably end up getting drunk. And 2, I'd definitely piss more which would require handling my junk more frequently. No thanks.

    Good luck to you though!

So I have lunch with my father at a diner today and on my way out I see they had a bar section. In that section was a fridge with craft beer. In the bottom of the fridge was a bottle of 2013 Sucaba. You bet your asses I bought it

    Nice I'll check it out.

Also gf is offering to take me out for my birthday to fountainhead, epic food and solid beers beats no food, mobs, and bourbon county. Problem solved.

And for anyone questioning my statement of epic food, 3 words. Whiskey. Cured. Bacon.

Enjoyed a Vanilla Rye and Prop tonight at my buddy's place, thus completing the only year I've had every variant. I know the Vanilla is getting a lot of hate for "extract flavoring" which I didn't pick up on and I really thought it was a better beer than the Prop personally. I think Prop had more layers but that's not indicative of a better beer, I think the Vanilla is more well crafted. In any event I wish I had coffee

Damn the local King Soopers probably landed 19 cases of 3.2 Bud Light Lime today.

We seems to have more Abyss this year, not complaining. At all. Take notice FW!

just think of the people who have never had BCBS and Barleywine....I'd say we are all lucky to even get those beers!

Buddy of mine in Kansas waiting in line for like an hour and got 1 bottle of BCBS....

Yeah, here in Washington, we got mainly just BCBS. I think there were a couple of coffee kegs in the state, but not much. No barleywine that I was aware of and definitely none of the other variants.

Coffee and Vanilla were very tough to come by here locally. I ended up being able to buy 3 bottles of coffee this year and no vanilla. Last year I bought about a case and a half of coffee and 7 Backyard Ryes. This year i've had to work a lot harder to get the quantity of coffee that I wanted to. I traded a lot of beer to land quantity of that variant. Vanilla is nearly impossible to trade for it seems. My best advice, Russo, is that you need to work the various trading forums out there and see if you can get those bottles. There are a lot facebook groups dedicated to trading...obviously Beer Advocate, Rate Beer, Talkbeer.com, and even places like Instagram and Untappd can lead to potential trades. Just gotta know where to look. Just my two cents man. There's also nothing wrong with just sitting back and enjoying BCBS and Barleywine....both are fantastic beers and get easily overlooked because of the rarity of the other two variants.

Great advice...I'm on the same path.

Another route I'm going to try is adding some cold brew intelligentsia coffee to the glass before pouring in BCBS. I think I can get:

BCBCS > BCBS with added coffee > BCBS
