It will be extended. For Sam's Town they did the same thing, tour the US in January/February, tour Europe through March, and then come back for more US dates.

These guys are huge overseas, they have to give those fans their due.

So I got floorseats to the Chicago show through The Victims (Killers fan club) pre-sale.

I tried to get tickets to the Nashville show at the Grand Ole Opry but they sold out very quickly. I guess I'll try my luck on Ticketmaster on Saturday.

In the UK. That's why release dates say that, but I'm pretty sure its still the 25th in the US...the 25th being a Tuesday.

Regardless, I've heard half of the songs played live and I want the other half to be a surprise.

So yeah, there is confusion on The Killers messageboard as to the release date. This post was made though.

I emailed my local music store and they said they were not sure that they would have Day & Age in stock on November 24.

This is what they emailed me back:

"Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry. We still have November 25 as the release date for the new Killers Cd from our distributors. More than likely we will not know if we will have it a day early until either the Friday before or that Monday.

However, other posts imply that stores like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Target will have it on the 24th.

Yeah, the 24th is definitely the release date now. Is it weird for a record label to do that though? If they were worried about it they should have released it the week before Thanksgiving rather than the week of.
