Well, Sara didn't die, but I knew that eventually something would happen to set up her becoming the Canary.

Giving her the jacket, the "it fits" and the "don't get any ideas" line, yeah, I still think this is gonna happen.

That was a hell of an ending. I knew the Felecity storyline was going to come up eventually.

I don't recall the Hong Kong storyline from the comics, so this must be something new they're doing with Green Arrow, unless it's an issue I missed, but I've read most of them.

From Superman to The Atom, Brandon Routh cast in Arrow Season 3. I guess the "no flights, no tights" policy will be abandoned, as The Atom has the ability to simulate flight.

I thought that was Smallville's self imposed rule? Well until they scrapped the flight thing in Season 4 when "Kal-El" flew and then again when they brought Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Brainiac, and Zod on.

Anyways in equal awesome news they are bringing the real Count Vertigo, Werner Zytle this season who will be played by Peter Stormare. Glad the producers are rectifying that. I mean I don't know if the actor was told to ham it up and find his inner Joker or if he just did it on his own but someone on the set day one of him shooting should have immediately thought "This is too cheesy"

I thought I read somewhere that they were applying "no flights no tights" to Arrow as well, or maybe it was during one of the first panels somewhere. I'm not sure.

I totally forgot about the MM storyline in Smallville. I need to do a rewatch of that show. It's been years.

Really need to catch up on this show. Haven't backread for fear of spoilers, but overall was season 2 better than the first?

Also, any suggestions on good sites to watch on that won't mess my computer up? Pretty sure season 2 isn't on Netflix yet. I've had mixed results with ProjectFreeTV in the past as far as free watching goes.

Each season has got better and better. Season 3 was amazing. The cameos, easter eggs, drop ins - it's been solid from the start.

Finally caught up and finished Season 2. Wow was that unbelievable. I don't think it's good just because I'm a comics guy, but it's genuinely gripping TV. The final ten or so episodes when the whole Slade arch starts to really get moving are something else. A lot of solid twists in there as well. Really excited for Season 3.

PS- Was anyone else distracted as hell by Sara's chin? I thought she was generally cute but good Lord how did Laurel and their dad not recognize her instantly with that butt-chin going on? No wig or mask could ever hide that thing. I also found that actress kind of weird, like she's a British girl trying to do an American accent or something. Very weird inflection/pronunciation going on with that chick. Probably my least favorite character.

The actor that played Slade killed it. He was awesome this season. I'm a huge Deathstroke fan and I thought the encapsulated him perfectly (would have liked to see a better arsenal of weaponry and actually seen him in combat but overall a stellar portrayal).

Pretty much with you on all of the above.

I just got caught up a couple weeks ago as well and was completely blown away by how intense things got. Those final few episodes were non stop excitement. I actually really thought they were going to kill Sarah off at the end. I think that was a missed opportunity, but maybe they have something else planned later. I don't dislike her like I dislike Laurel, but I just felt her character has done her part and her death would be a good pivot point to drive Laurel towards becoming Black Canary.

Maybe this is just me, but does it seem like Oliver has a lisp when they're on the island to anyone else? I never notice it when they're in real time, only on the island. She definitely seems to have one too all the time.

I think as an actor he purposefully uses a different voice to distinguish his past, more childish self, from his current hardened hero self. Never really noticed a lisp, just the fact that it was generally higher-pitched than his real-time voice.

Season 2 is fantastic. I would give Season 1 probably a 7.5, but would definitely put Season 2 at a solid 8.5-9.0.
