to assess QB rating as a useful stat for a guy who has thrown 7 TDs in 5 games, with two of those games against the 2 worst passing defenses in the NFL, is absurd.

he's averaging about 1.4 TDs per game. how would that be anywhere near MVP worthy?

when was the last time an MVP QB averaged under 2 TDs a game? i'd maybe give you 2012 because of his TD:INT ratio, but certainly not last year. 2:1 with 5 fumbles lost? not a chance in hell.
