Huge fan of the warmth and the wonders it creates. I work in a really upscale area so there is always a ton of talent. I also live in a cool, hipster type area. Always a ton of (Strange) talent. Summer is the greatest time in Canada.

    Re: Dating is miserable

Slept with this one girl on Saturday. She's a friend of the girlfriend of one of my close friends. I had never met her prior to Saturday. We hit it off, wound up hooking up with her and now would like to go on a formal date. New situation for me as girls I've hooked up with in the past have either been friends therefore there wasn't any pressure of a follow up, or a clear one-night stand deal. Here's the thing, I already know I'm gonna see her again this weekend. That's confirmed. It's her birthday so she's gonna be with a bunch of friends, not an ideal weekend for a first date (maybe I'm wrong?). And I'm actually not free any night this week to meet up with her. Should I just wait to talk to her this weekend or should I get the ball rolling right now by just casually flirting a bit via text and then wait to ask her out in person when I see her this weekend?

Do any of you with girlfriends get in shit for "Man Looking" for things? Apparently this is a thing. I don't really look for things. I casually look, can't find it and ask her. She calls this "Man Looking".

My thought process is she puts the shit everywhere so she'll know where it is. If I put all of our stuff in places I'd know where it is, but she does it so I ask her. Thoughts?

Hey now. No need to call my girlfriend crazy. That's getting a little hasty here John...

It's a thing in the world i've been told. With me, I've been told it's real.

It was never a thing until we lived together but she brought it up the other day.

No. She puts things away (in normal places). I go to look for that thing give up after 20 seconds of a half hearted effort and ask her where the thing is that she put away. She laughs at me and calls this "man looking".

Edit: I've also realized my girlfriend is sexist.

We're slowly coming to an agreement that she will just put my things on my bedside table.

If not, she definitely just shoves them into whatever place/container is nearby. Gloves in the kitchen cabinet with the dog food? Sure, why not?

My mom does that. If you leave something on a counter it's going to end up in a cupboard, drawer or closest near by. Best part is, if you ask her about it, she'll swear that she didn't touch anything.

My girlfriend got me a portable record player that allows me to convert vinyl to digital for my birthday. Now I can actually listen to the records I have been slowly accumulating over the years. Dating is currently not miserable over here.

    Hope you all are well.

There is some upgrade that's like $9.99/month which seems way steep.

I'm not sure what the app can offer me much more than it does now, especially at that price.

    Anyone know the details?
