Guessing he means Rooftop, the BBB>Jimi>You & Me stretch and then the brutal Be Yourself>I Did It combo all in the same set. Another six songs with the LL, none of which were Granny, BOWA or LBV.

No Bartender, Raven, Stay or Leave, Billies, Two Step, Dreaming Tree, Say Goodbye, Pig, LIOG, BOWA, Granny, #41, Crush, DDTW, Recently, The Stone, SMTS>ASTB>Too Much, etc.

I'm sure the energy was great and the band was on fire, but setlist-wise it was easily one of the least impressive of the tour. The only things even remotely exciting about the entire main set before the encore are Minarets and Nancies>Warehouse -- that's three songs over a two-hour period.

I'm struggling with all my beer goodness from SPAC. Sooooo much of it I'm overstocked and bringing some to Florida!!

I see myself heading east late fall, when snow flies.

Don't know Scott, that surely looks like Greg, haven't seen him in 5-6 years.

He's got a lot going on and it'll eventually get released.

    Whatever.

I had a blast on the lawn (which I never do anywhere), had a noob friend come with us and he really enjoyed it. I love BABB, I think Be Yourself is fun, and the guest and Dave scat on Jimi were insane. The Typical was incredible, the Minarets blew me away, and Halloween fake into Ants never disappoints.

It was a weak set, sure, but I consider it an Alpine warm-up. Toronto never really gets anything special, so I wasn't expecting to be blown away. We weren't even going to go (I detest everything about MoAmp!) so it was just bonus.

I know the dangers of song chasing but last night was my 24th DMB show (and 1 D&F show) since 1998. The 3 songs I have been chasing for ever were Typical, Minarets and Halloween. I got 2 of 3 and I nearly shit my pants when they started the encore with the tease. I had a blast at the show!

You certainly always enjoy yourself at the show, but in terms of setlist and desire to listen to a possible tape, that's a bummer.

This is the only part that really matters to me! I come to the shows to sing and dance and be with my friends. Mission accomplished.

Kind of odd statement as I don't believe this has ever been done before; you make it seem like this is a nancies-->warehouse segue or the reverse (ants fake --> halloween). Actually, I see this as quite disappointing; I don't care if halloween isn't the rarity it used to be, faking the song (especially in the encore) must have been a huge letdown to most seasoned fans at the show.

We got (IMO) the best Spoon of all time (09.03.03), we also got a song debut (Break Free - 06.13.06) which is pretty special, terrific Graves with Bela Fleck (04.19.02), one of the most unique entirely-different-song intros to What You Are (09.03.03), one of only 8 performances of Hey Hey, My My (06.18.08), one of only 14 performances of Captain this decade (05.28.13) and that crazy, haunting (and unique as far as I'm aware) Seek Up set II opener last year.

I know the band's level of performance right now is generally extremely high, but on paper I'm okay with missing last night's show. As close as TO is (I'm in Niagara region) with today's ticket prices I'm having to limit myself to just going to SPAC. If they didn't bust out Last Stop with Bela there, no way they were going to do it last night. Phew! 58 shows since 11.17.98 and still no Last Stop for me.

That's my goal at shows too, no point in spending all that money and being miserable at the show. After the show, however, I'm perfectly happy to both criticize and praise what I did and didn't like about the show.

I had such a blast at SPAC but still can't believe they didn't bust out Last Stop with Bela there, especially since it's only been played once there in 1998. Couldn't have scripted a better way to figuratively blow the roof off!

My bad. I meant it as a "can't disappoint" cuz it ramps up the excitement. I like the fakes, what can I say? My apologies for not being clear.

And yes, in the past (the distant past, for the most part...), Toronto has got some special shows and special moments. I never expect anything really mindblowing at a mid-week one-off show, so I don't end up disappointed.

I'm just saying there is a lot of hate out there for that show and set, from people who were and weren't there, but I, for one, enjoyed myself (as much as can be done at MoAmp.... )

It was. I literally shouted "Halloween, NO FUCKING WAY! Oh..." It actually took away from Ants at least initially and Ants is my favorite song for them to end a show with.

As someone who only sees 2 shows per year if she's lucky, I tend not to dwell on setlists. But I agree, it was a subpar selection, and mentally I wasn't into the show anyway. But great energy from the guys, and great folks in the pit around me (Dave, I'm holding you to those 5 beers in Montreal tonight.... if I see you).

What was it like getting out of there at 11? I escaped with 10 mins to go, ran down to Lakeshore, slid into a cab, and was home at 11:10. Very happy to have done that.

Oh absolutely, but you also have to admit that there are a ton of others who love to listen to shows and follow setlists, too. The last two years have been a letdown, in that respect.

The Toronto show was awesome. Finally got a sweet Minarets with awesome outro. My only complaint was the asshole in the pit in front of me getting in my space. He had 5 feet in front of him and had to stand 6 inches in front of me. Told him 3 times before it sunk in for him to move. My wife and I were at the back rail of the pit so we couldn't back up any more, and this guy kept bumping into us. Fucking prick.

    Toronto 2015 Pics
Here are my pics from the Toronto show. I had a good time and I met some really nice people, that I hope to run into again some time. I don't go with any expectations, I just make the BOWA.

Been a couple of weeks. Anyone have any info on the tape for this show? There was definitely at least one taper there, in the pit. Just wondering if anyone has any info.
