This whole thing is ridiculous. It's an expensive format that not everyone can afford and a lot of people just don't do. Why limit this to just a select group of fans? Just comes off as capitalistic.

Youre paying big bucks to go, but youre not gonna get some out of the ordinary set filled with rarities. ie, theres no extra incentives to go knowing the shows will be really special.

If D&T at an all-inclusive resort in paradise sounds fun - I"m sure it will certainly be special. There is a reason that so many of that people that went are planning on going back.

If you are sitting at a computer hoping to see "Blue Water" pop-up on the website you are refreshing, you will likely be disappointed.

and to anyone who's surprised it's not DMB, the event sold fine with just Dave and Tim last year. Why add more musicians and thus higher production costs which would mean less profit?

This sounds fun but I think I'll pass. We did a full week at a 5 star resort in the Dominican last year for about $4,000 total. We then did the Gorge and 3 nights in Seattle for about $2,000. This alone for just 4 nights is anywhere from $4,500 to $8000? That to me just doesn't make any sense...

Confused by this whole setlists not being special thing. Seemed like the sets from this last trip were pretty solid. No repeats, Dodo, lot of "first D&T since....", YMDT, etc. Yep, it's expensive but pretty sure people were pretty satisfied with the sets for sure.
