It's no different here though. How many threads end up in a "You're just a ballwasher and you like DMB! Go wash balls!" argument anytime somebody likes something.

Thinking ahead to the Busted Stuff vinyl reissue, I wonder if they'll release stuff from the Busted Stuff sessions or from the Lillywhite Sessions?

From the Busted Stuff sessions (via Tour Central) we know we have:
JTR - Steve Harris abandoned this very early, but this song yielded a jam that became Gravedigger. The band tried, but aborted this.
Counting the Stars - Merged with another piece and became You Never Know.
Save Me - Worked on but not part of the final album.
Gravedigger - As mentioned above, formed from a jam, but aborted.
Monkey Man - Worked on again for BS sessions, but not released.
Sweet Up and Down - Worked on again for the BS sessions, but not released.

And from the Lillywhite Sessions (also via Tour Central) we know we have:
    Busted Stuff
    Grey Street
    Digging A Ditch
    Sweet Up and Down
    JTR
    Big Eyed Fish
    Grace is Gone
    Captain
    Bartender
    Monkey Man
    Kit Kat Jam
    Raven
    Build You A House
Get In Line - Recorded during the Lillywhite Sessions but not part of the leaked demo.
#36 - Recorded during the Lillywhite Sessions but not part of the leaked demo.

How cool would it be to hear a properly mastered version of Captain from the Lillywhite Sessions?

I think he was mentioning the way they used to handle vinyl - pressing from the CD master as opposed to how they handle it now. (better source material)

I'd love a lot of that material. I don't imagine they'd release the Lillywhite versions of songs already on Busted Stuff, but perhaps the other material is up for grabs.

I also don't see JTR making it's way onto a release after the Santana re-issue.

This would not happen if people could handle a band being honestly critiqued.

This. There's a huge difference in being subjective and objective. People tend to think that being objective is just being critical to be negative when truthfully you can be objective and still love something.

I still really want to order that slipmat. Thing is so cool looking. I wonder if they'll make one for every vinyl release. I'd love a BTCS or Red Rocks slipmat.

I'd order a slipmat if I knew it was a good quality one like Herbies make.

I have an acryl it platter so I don't need a slip mat, but I agree with what you are saying. The project debut carbon came with a crappy super thin slip mat. Couldn't wait to get rid of it. Wonder what the quality of this one will be.

I got the LT 1 slipmat. I think that was the only other one they made, right?

Never heard of this website, but the reviews are good and they have the cheapest price for UTTAD vinyl.

Dumb question but do we know when the preorders for the UTTAD vinyl packages end?

It does. No way I spend $200 on Bruce's vinyl box set of the first eight albums. It's ridiculous (though priced well, still expensive).

Anyone know if the release had been pushed? I spoke with the local record store and they said their distributor had a date of December 16.

Well, I guess that proves that truly everything written after LWS was either radio-material or mediocre stuff.

I called a second store in my town and they said December 16 as well. I'm starting to wonder if it's a store thing, I am now thinking about ordering from Amazon.
