Say it once, say it a 1,000 times. While a part of me appreciates the new layers Tim and Rashawn provide, there is nothing more enjoyable than the simplicity of the original 5. You can hear Dave's guitar with clarity and Boyd's violin is actually audible. Now Boyd is turned down, and Tim's guitar overpowers Dave's.

thanks for the post op, and ya i gotta say, that acoustic guitar and powerful bass...something the band needs to bring back. They can still utilize the in-your-face sax, rashawn, and tim, but dave and stefan need to be turned up big time. One of the reason live trax 3 and live trax 5 are 2 of my favorites, stefan is in your face through the whole thing.

1994 "Tripping Billies" video on the DMB YouTube channel. Must be a mix of footage, at the 1:00 mark and on he changes from a t-shirt to a pullover and back again like 4 times.

Wonder if this means we'll still see a 1994 LT release - anyone know what show this is from?

I'm thinking it may be from the 4/26/1994 Town Point Park show that was released on DMBLive. If I remember correctly, Jake said the band had a camera at that show and filmed Billies. I could also be wrong though....

God...what I would give for that to be DMB now. Raw, acoustically driven, no more big ampitheatres....
