You cannot possibly say that a hypothetical show that hasn't happened is better than the Brixton shows.

EVERYBODY knew that SPAC N2 was going to be a great show, and guess what, IT WAS!! and everyone knows that Alpine and Jones Beach are going to be great too, and Camden is going to be amazing. even a disappointing Camden will be better than Brixton.
so yes, i can say that a show that hasn't happened yet will be better, because they're going to be. Brixton was a very underwhelming set of shows. they're not that hard to beat. I'd be willing to bet that we'll see a handful of SINGLE night shows that end up being better than these two.

Management decided they were going to film London. Does this mean that DMB tailored their shows to a dvd release? NO. they played a standard two night stand and unfortunately it wasnt as epic as SPAC. I just cant stand when people say "oh they should release a better show than this on dvd". They cant go back in time and place 25 cameras at a great show.

no, they can't go back in time, but do you really think they didn't know that SPAC wasn't going to be an amazing weekend?? they filmed 2 shows in England that more than likely were going to be very casual with nothing special happening.
SPAC, Alpine, Deer Creek, Jones Beach, Camden, they're all expected to be great shows because when they play those types of venues, they usually ARE great shows. why wouldn't they plan a release around THOSE shows when more than likely they'll blow Brixton out of the water, and even if they were disappointing, they'd still more than likely be better than Brixton.
and it still boggles my mind why they would release a DVD of 2 shows they didn't even use their lighting rig for. they spend all this money every year on amazing lights and then film 2 shows that don't use it? makes absolutely no sense.
