Oh, I'll be watching. I just don't know that Butler-VCU is destination television. I'll be rooting for Butler, but I personally don't give a shit who wins that game because there's no "villian."

BTW, Butler-Duke had the highest NCAA title ratings of the last 10 years.

National titles are about the two most deserving teams, no matter who they are, not who would bring in the most money. Simply don't televised the game. There would be an uproar.

Maybe it has to do w/ distance of travel from CT to TX?? Dunno.. I assume UCONN and UNC or UK will travel well. Butler and VCU will bring decent crowds but aren't the big money ticket...

Also could be that alot of UCONN fans spent a decent amount of money to travel to Anaheim. Now they'd have to travel back to CT and then to TX. $$$

That's a fair point. I don't think ratings are going to torpedo, but they won't be great. Either way, I don't care, I'm excited

I am the epitome of the casual fan, (start paying attention in February) and i love it when teams like VCU and Butler upset the big boys. I was pulling hardcore for Butler last year. And i will be pulling hardcore for them again this year. I love what Stevens has done there and i hope he doesn't get lured away by big college money.

The only real negative I saw for Kentucky was not getting back and allowing that amazing UNC speed to get easy baskets and a few fouls. But once Calapari said the same thing before halftime it comes down to his players listening and executing.

Not stopping play to check whether or not it should have been a one or two possession game. They've been doing that ALL tournament. I think Kentucky has been better today, but that was a huge error by the officials.

I take back the thing about the shot being called a 3, after seeing that baseline cam, it was a 3.

If they play this game 10 times I think UNC wins 9 of them, but Kentucky was better today. More hustle, more clutch, they wanted it.
