hiya stace! jon's trying to convince her to let them do a chest tube to suction out the fluid... she's resisting.
i told him to tell her to knock it off or we'll kick her ass... she responded in a fit of coughing and good natured profanity

UPDATE: hilary is on PM
brit agreed to the chest tube... it will relieve the fluid on her lungs and ease up how hard her heart is having to work. she's scared but (and i quote) the love of her friends is giving her the courage to do this.

they're going to do this in about an hour, so keep the good vibes coming, k?

We played tonight. It wasn't a big show, just a backyard BBQ type of thing. Anyway, I played Satellite, and I told them why I was playing it. I got a good response, seeing as none of the people that were there are Ants. I think it went over well. I hope that the vibes went out......

Jenna, Happy hippie Hugs were sent through Jon when me, Bren and Jon were on three way... figured that would make her smile.

Of course, we included the rest of the ants. Keep the candles burning, our light is brightening her spirit and warming her heart.

Remember to Keep Hilary and Jon in your hearts as well, as they have stuck to Brit through the thick and the thin. I say we make them honorary ants.

It was a thing that I felt was right to do. I also have several candles lit in the house right now. We are playing in the dark by candle light. It's quite cool, but that's not the purpose. Not everone I am with knows what is going on, but I do, and that's what I'm thinking about. Even though I don't know you Brit, it really hurts me to hear this and I hope that everything goes okay for you. After going through this thread and looking at the pictures of her smiling and happy I started smiling at seeing someone I've never even met before happy. Being in the hospital sucks, but the most important thing is to be postive about it all, which it seems you are. I really hope you get better and I'm sure you can since everyone here has so much hope for you. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, even though I wouldn't know who to pray to as I don't do it often, but I'll try my best Get better soon.

Pray to what you think is right. It doesn't matter what you were raised as, what people tell you is right. Pray to a figure of strength for yourself, and that strength will find it's way to the people who need it the most. Tolerance, understanding, acceptance, and faith (religious or not) are what get's us through. Sorry to go on a bit of a tangent in Brit's thread, but I felt it was relevant. Candle still lit.....
