I had zero confidence in Clay when they put him back in the rotation.

I hope he can keep this up

It's not exactly some groundbreaking statement.
Again you said before based on his playoff record, he's not a good playoff pitcher. What does it matter what he does down the stretch?

Pomeranz to the bullpen, keep clay in the rotation? I'm buying it

Also, I agree with Ortiz I don't think Ted Williams really hit it out to that red seat.

I'm saying it. They need a lefty in there since Abad sucks and Clay has pitched great in August. Drew is already way over his innings pitched in a season and has been good coming out of the pen.

he's been good coming out of the pen in the past. He's a starter now. In the playoffs it's all hands on deck, but until he shows fatigue why not keep him in the rotation? especially when he's going good

If Pomerantz can be a reliable starter you can't replace him with someone who has proven that he isn't a reliable starter for more than short stretches at a time.

Pomerantz has been a reliable starter for only this year much more reliable in the bullpen, they need the bullpen help, they almost have to keep Clay in the rotation with the way he has pitched and who at times has been lights out for pretty decent stretches.

So move pomerantz to the pen because he wasn't reliable in previous years??? Yikes.

Pomerantz to the pen might be a thing for the post season. Not now though.

Taz needs to be shut down or downgraded to mop up duty from now on. Barnes needs to be out of that 8th inning spot as well. No clue why it's not Ziegler in the 8th and Kimbrel in the 9th. it's not that hard
