    Hi Everyone, I have tickets to Camden but I am looking into getting stubhub tickets for Holmdel, curious if anyone could direct me into the best route to take with the 400's section is it worth it or to far back?

    Holmdel is always a bit tricky with seating. In my opinion the 400 level is pretty far back, so in short I would NOT pay anywhere near stubhub prices for them. If you can get them for face on the boards however, it might be worth it. It's basically the same sight lines as being in the front of the lawn, but the lawn is usually pretty packed so if you go 400 at least you have a guaranteed spot and aren't battling the elements.

    And you didn't ask, but as an fyi the 300 level seating is usually pretty decent. Good sound, decent sight lines, and usually you can snag tickets at face or just above face. If somehow a 100 level ticket pops up that should get snatched immediately...Holmdel doesn't have a pit so those seats are really close.

    It's true that Ticketmaster usually has drops for this show a week or two beforehand (just like most shows), though there have been years where the drops were predominantly singles only. If you're going by yourself then no harm no foul, but getting a pair of tickets via drops can be somewhat difficult, but not impossible!

    More importantly, stubhub should really be a last resort. I've had luck on the boards these past two years getting Holmdel 300 pairs, as long as you stay vigilant and check often you should be okay. I plan on attending but haven't scored tickets yet, and this is the route I'm taking. If all else fails, the prices on stubhub are usually heavily slashed about 1 or 2 weeks before the show and you can pick up decent 300s for just above face.

    We're talking about a Tuesday night show in a random Jersey town...I don't care how good the sets have been in recent years, this is far from a destination venue (this thread is only two pages deep for Christ's sake). Patience will pay off!

    This is true, but I went to this show last year and good tickets were really hard to come by. But I easily got some tickets in the 300s on the boards a few days before the show.

    last year there was a Ticketmaster ticket drop on 4/29.
    All the seats were in 302, something like 4 complete rows, Rows P through S.
    I was able to grab an aisle single. Views were good.

    Yep, that's been my experience too. I'm not saying any of us will be fortunate to score lowers, but usually 300 level uppers pop up and those seats have been good to me in the past.

    Originally I was just saying hold off on 400 level or stubhub prices....in those scenarios you're better off being patient. If it's 100 level or bust, then prepare to get raped by the markup
