i watched GNR at the KROQ Inland Invasion.

At times he sounded good, at times he sounded terrible.

The band is amazing though

I was lucky to have seen the Appetite five back in 1988 before they broke big. Unless all 5 are there (Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steve) I probably won't see them.

It was in April 1988 and I got to say hi to all the guys as they got off the bus (except Axl who was hiding). I remember Axl onstage specifically talking about just releasing Sweet Child O' Mine as a single.

It was a memorable night. Still have my GNR T-shirt from that show.

I saw Axl and Friends three or four years ago. It was ... not good.

They were supposed to play in Southaven, MS (a suburb of Memphis) in 2012 and there was so much speculation that the show wouldn't happen but it still sold out. Word is when Axl rolled up and saw the size of the venue (maybe 7,000 seats) he said no way and they cancelled the gig.

I am friends with their first manager (Vicky Hamilton) and she talked to Slash recently and he said it isn't going to happen.

"Ok...was texting with Slash who is on tour...he says the GNR tour isn't happening...so that's all I know... your guess is as good as mine..."
