    Wow! I have to say, I thought the Ladies popping up might be cool to see one time this summer, then I saw the sets with them that were as predictable as could be and was hoping to not see them this summer. Thankfully, all the shows we went to this year we did not see the Ladies as I just got done listening to the Chicago tapes and was wincing at how bad they sound with this band, I feel sorry for those of you that were put through that this year and even more sorry for those of you that will have to bear through that during the Gorge and or Berkley run, man was that bad!

    No one knows for sure, or if they do, they're not saying anything. The general consensus seems to be that they will be there, but maybe for the Gorge only.

    I was dreading the ladies this weekend and was surprised how much I enjoyed them. Greek shows were so much fun. Great crowd all three nights!!

    I really hope they do NOT appear at the Gorge , it would really put a damper on my time and my setlist game. Besides, I think Brandi Carlile and the caravan acts are enough. I thought one of the LL had a scheduling conflict?

    I thought the Ladies were hit and miss at Berkeley. They were great on Drunken Soldier (mostly), Sledgehammer, Cant Stop, Burning Down the House, Stay, and Everyday with them was probably the best one I've seen.

    For me they really detracted from LBV, Save Me (which I dont like full band anyway), You and Me (probably their worst song), and Idea of You.

    All in all, I was happy to have them there and the crowd went nuts for them all 3 nights.

    I agree that they're going to have enough guests, and I really hope the lovely ladies being there won't prohibit Brandi or David from guesting. That would seriously put a damper on things. I think it's inevitable that they will be there. My thinking was that if they show at Berkeley, they'd definitely be out there for the Gorge. I just hate that the shows are that much more predictable with them in attendance. I'll still have a great time, and hope for the best either way.

    So some of my friends ran into one of them in Bend. They will not be playing in Bend but they will be at the Gorge. I always say expect the worse, hope for the best.

    I was so happy they weren't there last night. I'm guessing they will be here tonight and tomorrow. I guess after seeing the berkley set lists, we got really lucky it wasn't all 3 nights. Hopefully it's only 3 songs per night and they choose good ones. But knowing Dave, it will be both covers, save meh, you & me, etc. It's amazing how much people wouldn't dread them if we got closing runs that look like this....
