This. I've been to a summer concert before at Camden (not DMB), and parking was free. So to see that parking was more than half the price of my ticket, which was only $38, was outrageous.

i've never had that much of a problem getting out of the lots, and i've never left early. actually, the worst time i had leaving was when i left early in 09 (time bomb closer) and took the ferry, which everybody recommended. i waited for an hour and i half to get across the river. i'll never do anything except drive into camden.

I have serious qualms with someone trying to convince me that Carter's solos are nothing to write home about. For real? Carter melts your face everytime. Literally I've seen two step electric like 9 times and everytime I walk out of the show with my face melted.
his two step solos tend to be the same thing every time. i love two step, but its getting boring. pretty much all carter does is smash the snare then hammer the double bass and crashes. there were a few times where he actually go into the solos, but those are few and far between. two step is probably his worst solo.

You waited an hour and a half to get on the ferry because you didn't catch the first one. It leaves a half hour after the show.

ya, i didn't get on the first ferry, and that was with leaving early. so why would i bother with the ferry if i have no chance of getting the first one when there is an encore that is worth staying for? the very next night i drove and parking in the venue lot, and i was out so fast that if it wasn't for the police stopping traffic, i would have beat the band's buses to the highway.

Well when they go unplayed for a decade, yeah they will take some time to find their groove again. I enjoyed hearing GGT again very much.

Rockinman's tape sounds amazing, and Dean's is practically identical. I plan on doing a comparison test to decide which will be my main go-to tape from now on.

This is the 6/14 tape I'm referencing, haven't listened to 6/13 yet.

Quick question from a relative newbie:

I bought a Beauford Adidas jersey at Saturday's concert, and it turns out to be too small.

Any idea if it's possible to exchange it somewhere? I emailed the DMB store, and they said they don't handle tour merch and to call the Sus. Bank Center. That didn't make sense to me, but I called...they practically laughed at me.

It's not a huge deal, but the jersey's were on the pricier side...

Thanks for any help in advance.

$50 is a bitch to have something not fit. Couldn't they have let you try it on first? (Not sure if that's allowed, just wondering). Needless to say you might be fucked. Pack it up nice and try selling it here on the WH boards. What size is it anyway??

Hey, thanks for the advice. I figured I might be boned...eh, I've blown $50 in dumber ways before.

I should have tried it on, but L's (it's a large) fit 98% of the time and they were really pushing everyone through between sets. I asked for a large and they were already swiping my card.

Ironically, I went with the jersey because those types of shirts tend to fit me better than the other thin t-shirts being sold.

It's still got the tags and everything, so I'll see what I get for it online.

Regarding the concert, it was my 2nd. I saw them at the Wachovia center before Christmas of 2012. I liked that this set dug a little deeper into the catalog...there weren't many repeats from that concert (So Damn Lucky, Cornbread, and Grey Street...I think). I get the impression that veterans weren't as pleased as I was.

    Anyway, my seats were better!
