hey everyone. So excited just added this show to my summer tour. I have not been to this venue yet and im buying lawn seats. Im driving from long island and was wondering if I should order the vip parking? def want to tailgate and I seen the other posts so not sure the vip parking lot is the best idea? may also get a hotel for the night if anyone has one to suggest. I seen a few within 2 miles so maybe walking to the show is a good idea.

Not sure about VIP parking but tailgating was good in the general lot. Don't know what hotels your talking about but the venue is right off the Garden State Parkway so I wouldn't attempt walking.

yea we don't want to drive either that's why I debated getting a hotel and cabbing it there. since I found out it right on the highway and tough to walk to

Haha yeah I've had a car service a couple of times with my buddies. It's so nice to have but can be a little expensive.

One time I threw up all in the backseat of a car service car after a show, I can't handle hard alcohol too well haha.

What's up guys? Show time is creeping up on us. Like last year, I'd like to host any/all ants that are coming to the show to tailgate with my friends and me.

My question is, did you guys like Lot 3 last year or would you all rather be in the main lots? I'm preferable to lot 3 for it's access to GSP north when leaving and also because it seems the real crazy tailgating goes on over in the main lots(I'm talking broken glass, throwing up, peeing between cars type tailgating).

Also, regardless of where we go this year, I WILL be bringing a flag to make sure everyone interested can find us easily.

Hi. I live ten miles from the venue and I can probably answer your questions for you.

VIP parking is nice, you're guaranteed a spot right in front of the gates. Otherwise, parking is free in the main lots.

In guessing the hotels you've checked out are in hazlet or red bank? Either way, they are definitely not walkable, but a $15-20 cab ride will get you there and back without issue.

They have banned all tailgating at PNC this year. I don't know how strict that will be or what it means but the way it was reported it doesn't sound good. Too many locals were sick of everything that went on in the lots

Thanks for the help. Will make the decision closer to the date if we get a hotel may cab it in. only two weeks away. hope this venue is good never been but not many posts here about it

ok im becoming a pest but anyone staying at a hotel nearby, taking a cab or has done it before? I get so anxious when I go to a new venue and know nothing about the area. or even a nice campsite or place to hike im checking out the parks I see on mapquest now.

from what we discovered, ALL tailgating isn't banned.

that notice was for NON-concert events.

concerts they are still allowing tailgating.

I got to work this morning and pulled up my calendar. Saw it was June 3 and got very excited to be a week away from the show. Came back to reality and realized it's still two weeks away. DAMN YOU WORK!

Anyone else making every possible effort not to peek at setlists leading up to the show?

Wish I could join! It's going to be near impossible to make it down before 7pm though. If you make it in the lot that long, I'll definitely come say hi.

Unfortunately the way they've raised ticket prices the last couple years I can never convince myself more than 2 nights is worth it. So many other shows I'm trying to get to this summer and they are all too damn expensive. Except Phish, somehow that's never overpriced.

What are the odds?
Had a tough time getting a decent pair last year so this year I bought 2 singles the day the tickets went on sale. 303 H and 303 C, figuring I would be able to find another single in either row to switch with at the show.

More than 3 months later(2 weeks ago) I check LN again and I pulled a single that was the seat right next to the one i have in row C. Needless to say, I was very surprised. Obviously, I purchased that seat and sold my single in row H. Since then, I have checked LN out of curiosity a few times and have only pulled Lawn.

Anyone have any luck pulling decent seats recently at this venue? Or last year in the weeks leading up to the show?

LOT 3 for sure! Missed you guys last year, but plan to meet up this year (provided I can leave work early enough). Will look for the flag!

how's traffic around the area? I'll be taking I-80 east to the parkway.....trip should take me 2.25 hours, will this be extrapolated by rush hour traffic? don't wanna miss parts of the acoustic set, as that's the only reason I'm adding another show.
