Still in the top 3 - wow. Considering that Halloween is quite the regular now....
My daughter's second show - still #1. She's a weird good luck charm. She's been to two shows, six years apart. Her only two repeats were Pig and Digging a Ditch. Great repeats. She doesn't appreciate it, though. She's not a fan. She just likes going to concerts.
As awesome as those shows were, I want more, because there are still things I'd like to see once - or again. (This is NOT complaining. I loved our Mansfield shows and am so happy I went; just fantasy.)
LITHOG. I've been listening to the Mansfield '10 version and it just flows so beautifully. It's like it circles you. I would have swapped that out for SMLAM without a second thought. And Corn Bread. I am totally not ashamed to admit I love Corn Bread to pieces. I would have kicked off, hmmm, I dunno, OOMH. Mercy is enough quiet time, I think. I wouldn't kick that off because I had to see it at least once, even though I don't like it. I dunno. Maybe someday I'll love it. Took me about 10 years to love Crush.
Fishtender. Love me some Fishtender. Would have kicked off PNP/Rapunzel, not because I dislike it. I love it. It just happens to be something I've seen a lot. Oh, and JTR and The Stone. I'd have to kick off Spaceman (which I do like) and Seven (which is sexy, but I've gotten it a lot.) Oh noes. I need room for BlackJack! Hmmm...fix that by having the band come out earlier the first night.
I really hope they see both sets, in their entirety, as worthy of releasing. I'm thinking that the improv before Why I Am means something hopeful in that regard.
