I HATE buying tickets. Worst task I ever have to do.SO frustrating.

SEC 203 ROW J with my WH account, requested 4 tickets which is why I might not have gotten as close as I wanted to. Still should be a good spot for the show, great sound and decent view. Hopefully we're close to the 202/203 aisle rather than up against the wall.

And it is so amazing in SEC 202 ROW S, the first row that gaps in the middle for the soundboard. I sat in the first seat on ROW S beside the soundboard in 2012 and it was the best sound I've ever heard at MolAmp and I've been in just about every section there for various shows over the last almost 20 years.

Couldn't agree with you more. The closer to the back of 202 you are the better the sound is.

I was lucky from a view standpoint to sit 202 Row A once but the sound sucks at the front of 202, even worse in the Pit.

Molson Ampitheatre is a concrete shed designed for nothing other than to sell 10$ beer. The acoustics are so bad, even the best seats to the rear of 202 still don't compare to any seat at Red Rocks, The Gorge, The Greek or any other outdoor field. It is so upsetting to be a DMB fan in Toronto and be forced to see the band at such a lousy sounding venue year after year.

I just feel if the voice is loud enough we may just be heard.

Considering your from Ottawa I'm surprised you're not lobbying for them to play Bluesfest...
It always strikes me as odd that they never are on the Bluesfest bill. I mean they are in the same category as a lot of the headliners that play Bluesfest year after year yet they never seem to play it...

Now there's a place I'd absolutely love to see them play...a GA field! Nothing beats it for sound that's for sure

Very Cool page. I officially "liked" it. More people on these boards should do the same!

Bluesfest is an amazing outdoor venue with reasonable priced beer, controllable and mature crowds and great sound!

Can you believe it's GA PIT for DMB but the 100s will have seating for the July 27th Nine Inch Nails w/Soundgarden show? Unbelievable, $550 on TM for the first four rows, guess seats was the only way to screw people over.

Totally unrelated to DMB but couldn't agree with you more...how the heck could NIN possibly be seated pit? If you think a DMB on sale is bad consider us DMB fans lucky yesterday's NIN on sale was terrible. Only Section 400's avail at 10am!

I'm on Ticketmaster every day just in case, but I think I've missed out. Kijiji is full of pit tickets going for stupid amounts and stubhub is 260 something a ticket.
Makes you wonder how many tickets they take out of the pool before it goes on sale.

Highly recommend the Brazen Head Irish Pub, it's literally 5 minutes walk from the Exhibition GO station and thus under 15 minutes walk to the MolAmp. Lots of room, couple different bars, the upstairs one has accomodated us before for a large group and they have a patio up there too with a great view of the CN Tower.

Shame it's not on a week-end again, last time I think there were about 50 of us met there, should be pics around somewhere.
