Well, I think that when games are played like this (exhibition type games, especially out of the country), its all thrown out the door.
its mostly a homer pick.... PSU is on the road to something good. Top recruitment class...great new coach, hot young QB (not talkin bout his looks).....
We will see what UCF can do without their top QB and Rusher, starting a red shirt Freshman etc.

    so far we've got:

Arkansas +20. Got it early, but later than I could have. it's around 18 now. Like Razorback this year as a sleeper team.

Ohio St -15.5. Wish I grabbed it at 12, but whatever. I think they have too much firepower for Navy to come close to slowing down.

Florida St -19. As much as I'd love to see OKST hang or even win, their D is not a very good matchup for the FSU O. I can't see them staying within 30.

    will add D-II matchups later

Doing the same thing I always do - heavily allude to taking games early & then post picks on game day. I could have had Colorado St at +3 but I hypothetically had em at 2.5 Wednesday

so many D-II matchups I love... I can't take em all... of my 4 favorites, I'm going with

Montana +4.5 - Wyoming is breaking in a new O, and Montana is a pretty good D-II team.

New Hampshire +11. Toledo's D is weak, and I hate to go against a former Bama guy (QB is Phillip Ely), but I think New Hampshire has enough O to keep it close

(for the record passing on NDST +3.5 v Iowa St and SDST +25 v Missouri - the NDST team has 3 straight D-1 victories to open the season, but they do have a new head coach... still like them a lot)

if you can find an O/U on the Indiana/ISU game, I'd say Over.... line is 31.5 which seems high but Indiana might put up 70.

wish FSU would've lost... that would've been sweet. Arky was tied at the half, lost by 24... ouch.

obviously put the wrong D-II games in -the other 2 covered ... and didn't take Dre's advice and play fast and loose with the numbers as I didn't take the closing line of +6 on Montana (which would have covered). Montana missed an extra pt and missed a 2 pter to get within 3 to not cover... oh well.

Nah, they can win by 42-49. That offense is gonna be a problem for a lot of schools.

Not to sway you, but some things I like:
Baylor's won their last 12 home games vs non-conference by 38 PPG avg.
    1st 3 home games LY were non-conference. They won 69-3 (Wofford), 70-13 (Buffalo), and 70-7 (Louisiana-Monroe!).
Faves of 30+ pts 4 times LY and covered all 4, including 2 conference games.
QB Bryce Petty threw for nearly 4200 yards LY with 32 TDs and only 3 INT.
WRs may be the best crop they've ever had with Antwan Goodley leading the way as a likely all-american and Levi Norwood opposite him and also a top 25 guy.

SMU is breaking in a new starting QB and have lost 2 1000 yd receivers from last year.
They also have 3 new DBs this year. Tough first game for them IMO against Baylor offense.

But who knows? Stranger things have happened. That's why it's called gambling, even though this is for entertainment purposes only
