DC's Legends of Tomorrow (CW TV Series)

The Flash/Arrow spin-off has a title - "DC's Legends of Tomorrow".

Synopsis: "In Legends, when heroes alone are not enough, the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat—one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?"

"The drama—which hails from Arrow and Flash executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti, as well as Arrow boss Marc Guggenheim and Sarah Schechter—also stars Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory, Heat Wave), Victor Garber (Martin Stein/Firestorm), Ciara Renee (Kendra Saunders, Hawkgirl), Franz Drameh (Jay Jackson) and Caity Lotz… though it’s still unclear whether she’ll be portraying a new role, since her Arrow character, Sara Lance, died earlier this season."

Rip was a big part of Booster Gold - hoping this would be a way to work him in.

That's why I was so excited to see them on the Flash - I loved Prison Break and they have great on screen chemistry. They're just very poorly written on Flash.

Yessss the Atom shrinking! That's what I'm talking about!

That trailer was dope. Loved the side-by-side of the comic panels throughout.

Connor Hawke will be in LoT! This is awesome. I hope he's closer to the comic version.

I could see them seeing Oliver Queen in the future as Green Arrow sporting the iconic goatee. Would be quite interesting, especially if Stephen Amell embraces Green Arrow's sarcastic nature from the comics.

"I've seen Men of Steel die, and Dark Knights fall" line gave me some chills. Cool that they at least reference the bigger/better known heroes. Also, was the green mineral Kryptonite?

This looks like it has the potential to be really cool and an interesting concept. I just hope it avoids all the teeny bop relationship drama that have plagued Flash and more so Arrow.

I don't know why the used Cold and Heatwave. And I'm a big Wentworth fan, and I love the chemistry between him and Purcell, but I don't think they're the greatest of "heroes", they only have powers because the weapons they carry are powerful.

Two well-known actors, they don't have a permanent spot on Flash...I can understand why they included them even though it may not make the most sense.

I did. It wasn't good, but it also wasn't bad. To be honest it was pretty boring. Not entirely surprising for a pilot, but they aren't going to pull in any new viewership. Too much WTF concepts for a non-Arrow/Flash fan to catch up to.

Wouldn't be surprised if they on,y got one season out of this.

That's what I thought, as well. The audience for this is Flash and Arrow viewers, and it won't pull in all of that audience, so they can't expect ratings to be too high for it.

I'm 15 minutes into the first episode and I don't know if I'll be able to hang with this one. The writing and the acting is pretty abysmal. Heat Wave may be one of the worst actors I've ever seen. I hated him on The Flash. I think they're just pumping out shows as fast as they can now because superheroes are popular right now. The more they do this the more the quality will suffer.

Too bad that Ray Palmer is getting wasted like this. He was awesome on Arrow. He was the best part of last season.

To Kevin - It's weird because Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are great actors in Prison Break. No clue why they're overacting on this show or Flash. It may just be how it's written.

Also, if Carter from a future timeline dies in a past timeline, does that reflect in the past timeline (since past Vandal took his life force) or in the present timeline? Because past Carter would be concurrently existing when future Carter died and Vandal took his life force...in the past.

I've been watching. Hasn't been as good in recent weeks, the whole premise is starting to get a little old. The strength of this show will be the cameo appearances by other characters in different timelines, because the only enjoyable characters on the ship are the Professor and Snart.

I agree with this and worried about that from the beginning. How are you gonna keep this going for multiple years? I like the characters when they were on Arrow/Flash cause they were side characters as part of the team or story. Different dynamic here obviously. We'll see where they go with a season 2. Sometimes it takes time for a show to find it's legs.

There's rumors that Constantine could be a series regular in Season 2:

I also read a rumor that Jonah Hex may be a regular on Season 2 but can't remember where I saw that.
