Fantastic Four Movie!

Anyone else pissing in their pants anticipating the release of the Fantastic Four Movie due to be released in theathres in June 05. From what I have seen from pictures and brief previews the special effects look amazing. Let's hope that Marvel Comics do justice to this movie.

Someone told me that they saw a preview of some sort at the movies this past weekend. But now I can't remember which movie it was they saw.
I'll see if I can find out what the details are.

***it was Elektra that they saw, but they it was more of a preview..not a trailer. I haven't found one yet. But they sent me this site:

In somewhat related news, there's gonna be a doc coming out about the unreleased Roger Corman 1980s film adaptation of the F4 called "Doomed". Here's the trailer, sounds like a really interesting story. Almost dumbfounding that of all the craptastic movies that Corman has made, that this is the one that was never released.

Normally, that wouldn't bother me, even with them being brother & sister in the story, but he can't be that great of an actor where you need to do this.

Taking well known characters & miscasting the race is dumb (see: Memoirs of a Geshia or that terrible M Knight movie a few years back)

No interest in this one. Maybe if Marvel had actually made this I'd be interested, but these characters just don't resonate with me. Fox has done well with the X-Men franchise (especially as of the past couple movies), but I'll pass on this one. It'll be a rental when I'm bored one evening.
