Depends.

I think Coach K probably realized this season that starting freshman isn't a bad thing, but he still has a fond love of his seniors. I could see it lasting awhile.

I know Jeter is no Okafor, but what is he known for? He looks kinda skinny. Is he more of a finesse big man or is he someone who has a powerful low post game?

From my understanding, he's much more of a finesse/faceup big man at this point and his post game still needs some work.

May not happen this yr, but UNC is about to be nailed. Sources will not be named, nor will details, but from what I understand it will not be pretty.

But once agin, this is the ncaa so who knows

there are programs at UNC that will receive a punishment that's "not pretty." men's basketball is not one of them

I wish academics weren't a second thought in college, regardless how good the players are. Sadly, that's impossible to get away from now.

my wife played a decidedly non-revenue sport at a small time athletic program and was told to either pick another major or quit; so in short, no they can't.

Hope it doesn't happen this year.. I'm going to see them play for the first time in person vs Temple in the recently announced Veterans Classic.

Not sure what much more the NCAA is waiting on... I thought they completed the re-investigation a little while ago? could be wrong tho.

carolina did an internal investigation that ended a little while ago. ncaa has yet to formally announce allegations

I wouldn't bank on that. Speculation based on very credible sources, but we all know how much stock we can put in that when it comes to this stuff. Just saying don't be surprised by anything.

Definitely not saying it's a done deal and x is gonna happen to them and destroy them etc. just saying I wouldn't say they're in the clear.

Yes they can.

As a former 4 year student athlete at UVA, yes they absolutely can choose.

This may vary from school to school, and I'm sure it does. UVA is a very high academic institution that gives breaks to no one, so I may not be the best example.

Legit question, do you think it has anything to do with the lack of minutes for guys this season?

It was great that Cal got this past year's bunch to accept that, but it'll be interesting to see if he gets such a ridiculous class again.

No, I think just think it's kids going elsewhere. We just put SEVEN players in the draft. Not sure how that could hurt recruiting. Sometimes you just miss out.

Jamal Murray is a must get in order for us to be a real title contender next year IMO

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I do think it was very rare that all those guys seemed ok with playing limited minutes.

Putting players in the draft doesn't matter much, getting them drafted where they want to be is the key.
