Just went to the Cambria Suites website and put in June 21-22. It's $90 more expensive than any other weekend.

That sucks. Because I bet the weekend of 21-23 is it. The hotel thing is a pretty good sign...

They usually don't -- I was able to get the Cambria last year for $95 per night when the dates leaked early on some other sites. The price didn't go up until the dates were announced.

Maybe this year they're getting on the ball early.

The hotels could be doing it based off last years dates. They may have no more info than we do and they're just guessing

You don't usually see a price spike before a public announcement though. Is there anything else going on that weekend in the area? I have been pretty on top of getting reservations in before prices increase as far back as I can remember even with reservations at the Conrad and always been successful in beating the price gouging. Maybe my run of success has ended? Guess Ill have to pull a Bobby Nines and start pooping in the night stand during my stay if this is the case.

In completely unrelated news. There is a Red Roof Inn in Columbus that I'm not welcomed at anymore.

I hate that the coverage is absolutely devoid of discussion about his trial. They act like Lewis is the role model American.
    I hate Baltimore. Hate them.

What? You didn't enjoy the coverage of Ray Lewis falling to his knees 5 minutes after the game was over and praying in the middle of a group of photographers? You must be a communist. Don't you love America?

Good to know that the fact that Lewis has changed who he is big time since that murder incident and has helped plenty of people since then means nothing here in the creek.

It's not that it doesn't matter. It's that it is part of the story. You can't act like it isn't there. And that is what the media is doing by and large.
Plus even without that, he is an obnoxious ass

So, if I were to murder members of your family and weasel my way out of getting convicted of it...you and I would be cool as long as my public persona sold that I turned my life around "big time"

I highly doubt the families of the two men stabbed to death are ecstatic that free walking ray Lewis is on tv all the time and given praise out the ass. And America should t be happy either
