2001 tour if I recall correctly. Wasn't really an issue for most shows until about 2002 though.

I like getting the limited CD, WH is still better than TM/LN for high demand shows, and $35 is nothing to me. Not sure what you don't get.

However, this year, they announced tiered seating after I renewed, so there's that.

Sounds about right. Still, until they started with the GA pit, I would always get in the first ten rows, maybe 15 if it was a high-demand show. Them were the days!

GA stands, without question, as having the single biggest impact on seniority to date. Based on this thread tiered seating is second.

okay, so it's worth the $35. cool, then there's no reason to complain year after year when you know what to expect.

if $35 isn't a big deal, then why not use your incredibly deep pockets on stubhub for good seats and just buy the CD from someone on here?

Renewal date is unique to the individual. They can't make a policy like that and inform everyone of it prior to a new renewal date, so you can't hold that against them...

Pit pushed back seniority 5-25 rows (depending on venue), but allowed tons of new members to get in the front
Premiums pushed back seniority another 10-15 rows, but allowed tons of new members to get in the front
Tier Pricing is now pushing almost all senior requests back an entire section
All the while, the Warehouse gives preferential treatment to new member pit and $85 requests

I've fallen out of the loop regarding wh policies. I'm a 13 year member. I got pit for the show I requested but I only requested one show. Is seniority out the window or?.. What are people pissed about?

You have to work a lot harder to get to the rail these days. And it becomes a target for everyone who gets stupid halfway through the show and decides they HAVE to get to the rail, no matter how many folks they have to step on to get there.

I can see why the band prefers it. I remember the days of some folks getting those tickets and just sitting there (I always glared at them.

It's not just getting pushed back, but getting stuck off to the sides. I would gladly take tickets 25-30 rows from the stage center for every single show.

even being a 7 year member, which i understand is still relatively new, it doesn't anger me or agitate me one bit to see any members who joined in the past 2 years to get better tickets than myself. i think it's solid i got tickets, and i don't mind the upper pavilion because the sound is generally mixed right between upper and lower pav, so it's of generally higher quality.

The pushed to the sides thing is tough, how far back center is really better than a closer side...I think different people would have different answers...really tough to solve that and make the dmbzillas of the world happy

Those CDs sell on the secondary market for more than $35, DMB isn't worth paying over face for anymore, and for the umpteenth time, Warehouse is still better than the alternative for high demand shows.

I don't hate everything Warehouse does or gives me ticket wise. Doesn't mean I have to be happy about every single policy to renew.
