I saw this comment when you originally posted it, but I waited. I waited until we handed your team a HUGE loss..Guess we are better after all. Sure didn't look like the team they were hyped up to be.

i am very happy tonight. what a 4th quarter. tony romo could be the real deal. im convinced so far. i feel bad for drew though, i didnt want to give up on him but uh after tonight, i did give up on him. the panthers are a good team and basically keyshawn and steve were shut down after the 1st quarter.

i just hope we dont take washington lightly...

the cowboy o-line dosent suck either, its just tough to handle a blitz every single play when defenses know bledsoe was the statue of liberty. again, to the giants, at the meadowlands it will NOT be 36-22. believe that.

well.. romo did make the o-line look really nice. he dodged maybe 3-4 almost-sacks.

who's going to beat them (at this point in the season)?

The Giants are THE team that will beat them, if it happens.

I think the Falcons are more likely to beat them at this point than the Giants, but Atlanta, NY, New Orleans and even Tampa Bay and Philly are all capable of beating the Cowboys. I also expect Romo to have a hiccup game or two before the season is over.

I agree with this, but expecting to easily finish 5-1 is just fire from the mouth of a homer dragon.

to a point. with the way the NFL is, we could lose a lot of people between now and Detroit. then again, we could go 6-0. speculation is fun after you beat a 9-0 team.

and i don't see what's wrong with thinking we could go undefeated the rest of the way. i don't think it's going to happen, but with remaining games against tampa, giants, eagles, saints, falcons and lions, it's not that impossible. name one of those teams that look better than the 'boys right now.

No, I really don't. I still feel the Giants are a better team then Dallas, and we have beaten you already...We have one more game vs each other. Until you guys overtake first place and beat us in a few weeks. I think that apology you want is a little pre-mature. The standings still show us ahead, and our victory vs you guys just helps my argument that the Giants are a better team. Don't go Michael Irvin on me and say that because of a few wins you guys are the team to beat again...Oh, I know about how Romo is the QB and not that "statue of liberty" Bledsoe...

Michael Irvin is ready to give the Lombardi trophy to Parcells.

The guys knows nothing about professional objective point of views, especially for a former player.

his insight isn't even quality when he's talking about other teams. he just sucks. he's the majority of the reason, as well as Tom Jackson, why I don't start my Sunday football TV watching till Fox comes on.

As bad as some think Joe Buck and Bradshaw are, to me, their steps ahead of those blithering idiots on ESPN

There's nothing wrong with it, hell I'd like it; The Cowboys D' is my fantasy defense.

But the way the league is and the fact that they have a young inexperienced QB - the chances of "easily" going 6-0 or even 5-1 is unlikely.

Basically, it is possible but highly improbable

Anyways, great win for you guys last week - the defense matched up great with the Colts offense - the defense pressured Manning all game and punished the Colts with hard hits throughout the game.

true. yet eli looks like a lost schoolgirl out on the field, whereas romo has shown his poise. you can't disagree that these are two completely different teams from when they've played before. and i realize you guys are injured on defense. you can play that card if you want to. but i will argue that the cowboys are the new team to beat in the nfc east.

i also don't want to hear about how you guys destroyed romo. he was thrown into a game that was already lost. he also didn't get a week to prepare as he was still second string at that point.

dallas's offense is coming around and the defense looks ridiculous right now. i've been a fan of this team far too long to know that we're not going to win out. hell, if we lost tomorrow it wouldn't surprise me. but as of right now, the giants have a lot more problems than the cowboys do and i would argue that dallas is now the better team.

it was a huge win. i think it'll be a real confidence builder for them. i don't care who you are, if you beat an undefeated team, you have a whole new confidence that can really help. christ, look at the dolphins since they beat the bears.

Oh I can be a man about it and agree, right now you guys look REAL good, and Eli does look lost, and the injuries are killing us. As of right now, you guys could catch us and win. But to say you are THE team to beat is a bit much. In all reality, neither the Giants or the Cowboys are going to win the super bowl. I just thought you asking for an appology was a little pre-mature.

The Bears are good, they beat us. But I felt if the Giants played the Bears on Tuesday, they might have beaten them. Who knows. Yes, at that time, you guys sucked. They look A LOT better now...

yeah, you never know what you're gonna get with the bears. the only thing you can count on is that the defense is going to beat the piss out of you. the offense is a mystery right now.

that's the thing. you beat the offense, rush Grossman, then figure out a way to score 30+ points and play better than the cardinals O-line did.

sports in general have been a little unpredictable lately too, not just with pitt winning last yr, cuz even in baseball who wouldve picked the cards to win the world series, and EVERYONE and their mother "knew" that a team from the west was gonna win the NBA championship, that is until my miami heat took the crown from the heavily favored dallas mavericks. im def not counting out
the cowboys, the giants, or anybody else, though i think the cowboys have a much better chance
