Jones--not really. Winslow very well could be. Cook--lol no. Allen is more likely to redshirt than be a top-3 scoring option.

Jones and Winslow aren't great scorers from what I've read/seen.

Allen is, but I would be surprised if he played major minutes.

Quinn Cook is essentially a smaller Sulaimon. He can be great or he can be terrible.

Sulaimon will probably be very good next season. Coach K has a very good track record with junior shooting guards improving far beyond their sophomore seasons - Redick, Nolan Smith (especially), Gerald Henderson, etc.

Duke should be really good next year. I don't think any of their wing guys excel at generating their own offense, but they won't need to. Jones should consistently put them into great scoring positions.

The difference between Sulaimon and those guys that is that they all saw substantial increases in usage, shot percentage, and most crucially, minutes, between their freshman and sophomore years. That is to say, they didn't magically improve between their sophomore and junior years specifically, they continued an arc of improvement.

Sulaimon saw a very slight uptick in usage, but a sizable decrease in shot percentage and a very marked decrease in minutes. That doesn't exactly speak to an upward trajectory.

I wouldn't say that about Nolan Smith. He was Sean Dockery II before his junior season. Sulaimon had better freshman and sophomore seasons than both he and Henderson. I get what you're saying, but by the end of the season Sulaimon was playing damn good basketball. I think he will be very good next season.

I'm starting to wonder if Hood is taking so long cause he's hearing different things. DraftExpress has him going #22 while NBADraft.net has him at #10. That's a pretty big gap.

With a weak draft next season, he'd be a top-10 lock. But I hear his family needs money.

I think Sulaimon is often way too erratic and tries to drive the ball when there is nothing there.

I don't disagree one bit. He needs some muscle and a more consistent jumpshot, and he will be a defensive liability (but it IS the NBA), but yeah he has some tremendous upside. He could easily be a star.

yep we sure do....enough for our incoming class but that is it. poison and hood were also scholarship players so don't forget their spots are now free
