New England Patriots Thread

They just get shit done when it's needed.

21 wins in a row.

Ace.

Nice try though, Jets.

The Jets are a good team, and young. They have a very bright future. Hell, it could be this year.

The Pats are just one play better than every team in the league. Their preparation is perfect- just enough to beat each team. It's amazing. One of these weeks, one play or call will go against us, and that'll be the end of the streak.

    J-E-T-S suck suck suck!!

I wasn't impressed with Penny. I thought he'd put up more of a fight. Both defenses, however were great. There were a bunch of Jets fans at the restaurant we went to to watch the game, and they kept yelling stuff at us (my brothers and I). Pats fans normally outnumber the other teams but because this was on local TV, no one showed up and we were left to fend off Jets fans alone. In the end, tho they were the ones all quiet. My younger brother does the rodeo dance perfectly... Got the Jets fans good and pissy.

Bring on Rothelasjasdjasdburger and the Steelers. This will be a true test. I have a good feeling. Pats have beaten a great Seattle team, a great Jets team, and this will be THE game of the year so far.

    LETS GO PATRIOTS!!

I'm not taking anything away from the Pats, but Seattle is far from a great team. They beat three bad teams and have tanked from there. The Steelers and Jets should be the two biggest obstacles to 16-0.

People seem to think that Pittsburg will end the streak next week. I can't see a rookie having success against Belichek, no matter how impressive Ben has been.

nice. i can see maturity graced you well. i still don't see what tom brady winning the superbowl(twice now, right?), a 21 game winning streak has to do with making him part of female genatalia.

I loved how people chanted Who's Your Daddy, and people had Yankee signs saying go Patriots.

Besides the fact that the Giants played in Yankee Stadium, I don't really see what the Yankees have to do with football.

Could it have been any more obvious that Simms is a NY fan? He was as bad as McCarver during the Pats game today.

Well, 90% of all yankee fans are fair weather, so they can like the Patriots because they are nearby and they win.

They'll cheer for whoever wins more games...they choose from the Pats, Jets, Giants, Yankees, Sox, Knicks, Celtics, Bruins, Islanders, Rangers...the only team they ever had loyalty was the Whalers and they didn't show it until after they left town.

That is so true. I live in CT so I see this all the time and it annoys the shit out of me. I've been a loyal Jet fan since I was a kid and now with this seasons success its amazing how many people I see walking around with Jets apparel. Where the hell have all these people been? Its about time they show up.

yeah, CT is pretty split in half. It's just cause they have no teams besides UConn basketball and the Connecticut Suns

EXACTLY what I was going to write. I haven't lived in CT in 7 years... I didn't know who the Suns were until I saw the score on ESPN.

    UCONN is where it's at.
