This year with most senior requests ending up in the uppers, senior members will get seat assignments towards the front of the uppers...great

I got confirmed for two tickets each night. N1 upper reserved, N2 pit! So excited. I've only been to WPB once before, but if memory serves, the pit there is tiny, right?

Got lowers at Tampa the $85 tickets. I'm a year 3 member of WH cause I'm an idiot and let it lapse. Only went for lawn at WPB

I wouldnt call it tiny, but it is pretty cozy... they dont pack it. great experience. did it the last 3 shows... got pit for N1 and N2, just there this year through WH, now looking for 2 more for each night for friends.

I've tried the citi presale three years in a row and haven't been able to land lowers at WPB for either night three years in a row!

Eeesh. I know what you've gotten in the past before for WPB. I somehow lucked out with lowers for WPB N2, but I got uppers for N1 and Tampa. The latter was the real surprise -- haven't been getting good seats since they brought in the pit, but I was usually in the second "tier" -- sections 8-10 or whatever. This time, got kicked back even further... yuck.

I'm still shocked I got pit for N2 at WPB. I let my WH membership lapse a few years ago, so I'm a fairly "new" member. I ended up with uppers for N1 (although still shocked I got confirmed for both nights).

In the end, it now looks like I'm going to be traveling to WPB by myself, so I'll probably look to trade one of my N2 pits for a N1 pit or good lower. If I'm successful, I'll be selling my N1 upper reserved pair, and you all will be the first to know if/when that happens.

Grab a Pit ticket and a poncho. Nothing special about the venue other than the size of the pit and thunderstorms. Not necessarily WPB caliber shows but usually solid, with a surprise now and then. Curfew must be strictly enforced cause they shut the encore down like a slammed car door.

So it looks like Cruzan is no longer the sponsor for the venue anymore. Its going back temporarily to Coral Sky Amphitheatre , the original name. Reminds me of when I was high school and calling it Coral Sky for years.

I usually get the party hard out of my system in Tampa and try to keep pace in WPB. I'm a yankee, its fucking hot down there...

Ahhh, one of my favorite/luckiest ticket stories of all time covering 17 years and 200+ trades, here it is cut/paste from an e-mail...you had to have been there, probably doesn't make sense now, but I had someone watching over me that night:

Crazy ticket story from the weekend. I had made multiple trades for our group for the weekend and thought I had them all worked out (with a spreadsheet to keep track of it all). One trade I was giving a N2 pair and getting what I thought was a N1 front row balcony single plus cash diff. Trade was done FRI afternoon, I plan on using the single that night. Later I get a call from a buddy that he's not gonna make it so I need to sell his single that I'm holding. I post his single on the boards, no takers. At the venue I try to sell the extra, a few folks offer $20-$40, I'm not willing to go that low (4th row balcony aisle seat), so I decide to just take a $90 loss and walk in with the extra ticket in my pocket, so I'm going in with 2 FRI tickets.

I present the front row balcony single to the ticket taker, bar code won't scan. She looks at ticket and points out that it's a SAT ticket! SHIT!! I then remember that I have my buddies extra (thank goodness I didn't sell it) and use it to go in. After show I check the PMs that covered the trade, my fault that I didn't realize I was getting a N2 ticket. I sell the Saturday and all's well, I avoid taking a $90 loss and thank goodness I didn't sell the extra on Friday!

Having been around a long time I have a tendency to move a lot of SPAC tickets. Many SPAC tickets never show up on the boards and last year I saw some real crappy moves, including fake Craigslists postings to make seller, traders nervous enough to back out of deals. Yeah, someone was pissed they did not get tickets off boards so they posted an ad and did the "call out" on the WH boards. One of the shittiest moves I've ever seen. Seller ended up going to show.

With that all said, now that you've been there you can appreciate just how lucky you are! I had made an earlier mistake obtaining and selling Friday tickets when they needed Saturday and found out Thursday night.

I scrambled and secured tickets for these people as I was headed to Ballsfest and I'll admit, I stressed. SPAC tickets are incredibly hard to find and this year I'm helping 3-4 friends.

Remarkably, I'm pretty good for Florida. WPB N1 we all got uppers and I secured seats right next to the VIP boxes in the uppers. I've never been up there but I'll be OK. N2 and Tampa are pits.

Pete left out the main reason for the confusion. I won't elaborate, but we did visit Chad and Brenda earlier in the day.

The Cruzan Box area is good. Best sound in the place. Wife and I sit with friends who are season ticket holders and get box near the sound board for N2 last couple of years. Only problem is all the 'Trumps' sitting down around you during the show.
