Reid drove me crazy for years forgetting about Brian Westbrook and relying on McNabb....still drives me crazy just thinking about it. Westbrook was our best player but was way under-used

Not sure I see your point. If Alex Smith and his band of merry TD-less WRs can get 311 yds, Peyton could put up 600.

    '05's defense would dominate

'08 and '10 defenses were just as good too, if not better

what the hell do yards matter if they couldn't even get into the endzone?

Yesterday was Alex Smith's 1st 300 yard game of the season.

Andy Reid drives me nuts sometimes with his playcalling... but everytime I get really frustrated I remind myself of Romeo Crennel & Gunther Cunningham running the show.

See, Richard, this is why I deleted the post; so this thread wouldn't get bogged down in the yards =/= meaningful stat discussion... again.

If you can't see that manning would move the ball at will against Steelers when they gave up that much yardage to Alex Smith then I really don't know what to tell you.

Yes, the Chiefs didn't get into the end zone, but Denver surely would have and probably will.

All you have to do is look at what the Saints did to the Steelers.

They could start the rookie they drafted to see if he's worth a damn going forward, but the whole reason Trestman benched Cutler was to try and get a job elsewhere. The whole thing is a mess.

Honestly I think MVP to Brady is the move. The guy's been crushing teams this year and is proven clutch. Id love to see it go to Romo though

Thomas has gotta man up there. Duel possession, though. Thought that went to the offense.
