i used ticketmaster last year i think, i don't think i got anything special, but the cool thing about SPAC is that all the seats are pretty good, even the lawn. it's a very well designed venue

Awesome, I am stoked. If I can have seats one night I would be happy.

The only thing that will prevent me from heading to SPAC is something big in the Boston and New York TBA's.

I plan on driving down from Eastern Canada and camping along the way and make a good trip out of it.

Checked rates on Hotel/Motels and its gonna be at least around $200 (after taxes, etc)no matter where you are for 2 nights. Defintely gonna camp. Now, which one is the question I havent figured out yet.

Honestly- last year i was more than happy to have the lawn, it's really beautiful, plus if you are inside you can't see the fireworks. and there seemed to be more reefer floating around out there. that place had the friendliest, most sharing people of any venue i've been to (not that SF counts, i mean just the random people you meet).

Through The Warehouse 2 tickets for each night (4 tickets total) were $259 (about $65.00 each) for reserved seats. I'm guessing Ticketmaster will be about the same for Reserved seats.

Lawn will be less but I don't know how much less.

Through ticketmaster last year, I paid $40 (plus fees) for lawn seats and they were wonderful. We were up against the fence and you could the stage and the band perfectly.

Damn, everyone says such wonderful things about the venue I can't wait to see it for myself.

Last year at Molson I scored seats in the 200's from ticketmaster and I highly doubt that I would get that lucky often.

it's one of those venues where even the crappy parts of most shows are awesome... the lawn rocks, and i have to say that the hike back to the cars was one of my favorite parts, it was far as hell, but you're just walking through these HUGE pine trees through the park

    Yes, very beautiful.

Last year, instead of waiting in the stupid line of cars, we just got a blanket out, blasted some music from the car and looked at stars. How many places can you see DMB and do that?

most of the motels up there are just phone numbers online, they're not large chains, it's just a typical roadside motel. just another thing to think about is that some places require minimum stays depending on what is happening that weekend, like during racing season I think it's 3 nights...they're not cheap for small motels, but it's really cute to stay in, that's what we did last year.
